Had a partial pack of smokes on Saturday. Purchased an ecig on that Saturday and had 2 analogs. Sunday had 2 analogs and so on until that pack ran out on the next Friday. I had been smoking a pack a day for 40 years. Inspiration will come from you, all we can do is tell our story. Mine came from wanting to grow old with my love, experience my grand children and watch them grow, the absolute nasty smell on me, my cloths and car not to mention the obvious health risks. This is my current motivation and while only 3 weeks has passed without an analog, I feel I have got it licked.

Good luck, your in the right place for kicking the smokes -- don't give in --- you can do this!!!

Smoked 50 roll ups a day for 40 years, got a cig a like, in December 2011, cut down to about 10 a day, got a lavatube& dct tank in jan 2012, never had a stinkie since, was missing them though, got a bottom feeder from a friend, in feb 2012, didn't miss them anymore, never craved one since, never looked back.
Everyone is different, but for me a feeder was the way forward.
For anyone that's struggling, you will get there, once you've found the set up that's right for you, just persevere

I was never the heavy smoker but smoked since 2004-2005ish. Maybe a pack 2-3 times a week. I haven't had an analog since October 2, 2012. I bought an ego starter kit from a vape shop and never looked back. I actually got sick because I think my body was craving the chemicals found in analogs. When I'd wake up and cough up nasty lung cookies was when I started to rethink my way of life.

After I got it, I still craved analogs. But like many people here, it's all will power. It was hard to resist due to my roommate being a smoker but I prevailed!

I cheated last weekend because I was out on Sunday Fun day and my device was out of juice. Took a drag off a Marlboro ultra light and quickly regretted it. It was like my first cigarette of my life. I gave back the smoke and quickly smelled my hands and clothes just to see if I smelled haha.

I actually was trying to quit cold turkey, and did so for about two days, much to the chagrin of my lovely wife. I was an absolute bear, and just looking for her to say something so that I could argue with her! After two days of this she reminded me that I had a Blu disposable sitting in my center console(that was about 8 months old) and to go try that, but I told her no because I just wanted to quit. Some hours later, after her nagging:) I hit the Blu, and instantly my mood was better!! Later in the evening we dropped our girls off (three beautiful daughters) at her moms and drove around looking for a place to buy an ecig starter kit.

I think she just wanted me to buy anything, and was getting slightly frustrated with me because I was turning these little starter kits down. I knew from watching reviews and the like on youtube that I had wanted an ego twist battery, but never made the purchase because I didn't want to invest $75 or so if it didn't help me to quit, but after hitting the Blu I knew right away I could quit smoking. We ended up picking up the kids and when we got home I scoured the internet trying to find the best deal, and I ordered a kit the next day. Meanwhile the Blu gave up on me and I went to the corner store and bought an NJoy, and I ended up using those until my starter kit and juice came in about 5 days later.

So basically, long story short, I actually stopped smoking 2 days before I started vaping. I haven't looked back since and don't plan to! I've converted a couple friends as well, and my family couldn't be more proud of me!

All up in your grill..
Day one. That was a little over 4 years ago. I did however have one of the better available builds at the time. One of the first cartomizer types ever made. (there were three that I knew of at the time and it was the better of the three.) It was a year or more after that before I saw vendors offering 510 cartos.
