yanno pawpaw, you're right! i bet that's EXACTLY why the morning cig is such a b**ch right now. i'm not all vaped up already. maybe i should vape when the alarm goes off then hit snooze.

Maybe you could get someone on the modder's forum to come up with a modified oxygen mask (or cannula) so you can vape during that 9 minutes of snooze time!

Wish I had a success story like the others, but while I've cut down to about 1/4 pack from a 1 to 2 pack a day, I'm still not there. Started about 2 months ago.

Long story but big part of the problem was developing a sensitivity to PG & now having to mix stuff up with VG. Picking up the analogs is so much easier than running a chemist's lab.
Which is why I went with the Vapor King in the 1st place. Time is a precious commodity for me.

I'm not beating myself up over this, but am a little discouraged. I am SOOOO looking forward to when Leaford gets the carto business straightened out & gets those VG carts shipped (maybe direct to me???? hint....hint....)

That's excellent progress if you ask me. I hope the VG cartos do the trick for you!

I guess I was one of the lucky ones. I stopped after my first vape. I think it helped that I was also out of cigarettes at that point. I was planning to go buy more because I never expected vaping to be so effective at curbing my cravings. Needless to say, I never did buy more cigs.

I think it helps to realize that every analog you do NOT smoke is a victory.

Haven't touched a cigarette since I got my 1st order Nov. 20th! I smoked rollies and still have a half a pouch of tobacco and papers in the console of my truck. I havent even looked at it since that night. To be honest I still have the occasional dream where I am smoking just a quick drag of someones cigarette and I wake up in the morning feeling guilty lol.
There have been stressful times lately where I feel like I could just smoke one to try it or when I feel I really need one but honestly I don't trust myself. I may try a drag in the future but not at a time when I am fiending for one because I know that will just be reenforcing my former addiction. I'm gonna hold out as long as I can because I'm proud of how long Ive gone withiout smoking and it would be a shame to start again after a month. I just have to remind myself now and then that my VK will do the exact same thing for me and there is NO reason to smoke a cig ever again.

I stopped the day after I received my 1st shipment. Had 1/2 a cig and had to put it out and pick up my VK. Unfortunately, the lack of alkaloids (antidepressants) became a problem last week. I've had more cravings this past week to smoke those 6 packs cigs that I kept (was scared if I had a craving I would "need" one), than the whole time in between my shipment and now. I've resisted, but it's been a little like a cig craving.

My first type of e-cig didn't do it for me, then I got a 901 and that took a week to get me off analogs. It wasn't til I got my first VK that the cravings stopped. I have been analog free for 8 months.
What a wonderful feeling I had last night when my daugher asked me for my lighter to light a candle and I replied without thinking "I don't smoke any more"! I had to stop in amazement! (then had to go look for a lighter..lol)

I got my VK 3 days ago. My last cig was actually monday morning. Once in a while I still get a cig craving, but my cigs are gone anyways. Kool FSCs are NOT Kools and the FSCs make me feel like s___.

It's pretty easy for me now. Plus, when I get those cravings I just get a Cool 36 carto. The TH is magnificent IMHO. On the PT that flavour hits with the punch of the old non filters to me. :D

7 - 10 days with a blu! Thanks to my 510/SB no going back now.

I felt like that for a little while. Then I put a 510 -> 808 adapter on my SB and screwed on a V4L caromizer. NOW there's no going back. ;)

After experiencing the quality of the SB, I just had to buy the BB & adapter too.

I gave all of my other stuff away, 510s included.

I so agree with you on the FSC change. That is the reason I chose to quit also. I switched to rolling my own then ordered my VK.

I started out with the big guns, DSE801 and 36 mg Virginia juice. It took me a week to quit completely because I had to fiddle a lot that first week to get it right. Yeah, there -is- a learning curve! I was a 2-packs a day smoker and I never really wanted to quit. First week I smoked 1 pack the entire week. 2nd week I was no longer a smoker. And didn't cough and smell like one anymore either!

Since then my trusty 801s have been mostly retired. I now vape VK and alternate with dipping M401s. I really like the little guys! I'm vaping mostly 8mg-12mg now...

I'd originally went with a Volcano and a Sidesho - quit analogs immediately. After about 5 days I decided the Sidesho was the keeper and gave the Volcano kit to someone that wanted to give it a try. Right about that time one of my Sidesho batteries died, possibly from the PCC. In the midst of all that, I was trying to deal with the typical 3pc e-cig hassles, and got myself sick. So there I was with a bad battery, a possibly bad PCC, and no real way to charge the 1 good battery.

I went back to analogs for a 4 day stretch while I waited for my orders from V4L. Happy to report that I've been smoke-free since then - just over 1 week now. Now I'm going thru the process of finding my flavors, the ones that will fill in for the various times I used to reach for a smoke.

Like others have said, it's going to be a bit different for everyone. The main thing is finding what works for you. I see now that I was a bit too obsessed with the idea of 'breaking even' right away, and in doing so I overlooked the primary purpose and benefits of trying out this whole thing in the first place. It's definitely a process, so give yourself some time to adjust if needed.
