How long did it take you to drop analogs fully?

I started off with 36mg and never touched another cig after I got my first 510. I had such as desire to quit that it wasn't hard. I might of had one or two urges in the first week but just kept hitting the 510 until the urges went away. After 40 years of smoking it wasn't hard with the right mg of juice. I have since went to 18-24mg after all cravings left and that was more than 3 years ago now.. Good luck to you..

It took me about a week...

I had about half a pack of cigarettes left when I bought my first NJoy kit three years ago.
That killed all of my smokes except for the first-thing-in-the-morning smoke.

In less than two days, I had already found this place and ordered a 510 model.

But the improvement in gear did not help me with that first morning smoke.
Mainly because of the hassle of getting a good hit off the thing in the morning due to wicking issues and other various hassles.

For me, zero hassles on the first morning smoke would never be tolerated, and that was my only sticking point.
ZERO. Any hassle whatsoever was not acceptable first thing in the morning.

Hell, my brain doesn't even work properly for at least an 30 minutes after waking up.
And hassle is simply not an option.

I finally decided to try dripping, and that fixed all my consistency and hassle issues.
That also coincided with when my last half of a pack ran out.

And that was that.

I'm about 4 months into vaping seriously. I still have about 1 cig/day most days. But some days I just forget to smoke! Unbelievable isn't it? I'm hoping to forget for a whole week soon...maybe longer eh?

That is keeping at it and a tremendous amount of willpower to have ONE. Keep it up!

Five months.

I smoked 1.5 packs a day for 35 years. I started vaping last November and gradually cut down to around a half pack per day and vaped the rest of the time. That went on for a few months until I was vaping most of the time and smoking five cigarettes per day. I had a hard time giving up those last couple of smokes each day. I probably had a tougher than usual time kicking MAOIs in tobacco smoke because vaping seemed to handle the nicotine need just fine.

I finally got sick of the smell issues from those last few cigarettes and quit smoking completely. I haven't had a single cigarette in three months now. I don't have any cigarettes squirreled away somewhere. I tossed them all out.

I'm an expert at quitting analogs, I've done it at least a hundred times. :D

I didn't quit with my first e-cig- it was a disposable and it really didn't kill the cravings. But it's only been about two weeks since then. I now have a much better model and have zero desire to go back to stanky old analogs. Never was able to able to quit without terrible cravings before this week.

Tomorrow marks 4 weeks.
Stopped Marlboro lights (1 pad) after first puff with vv, atty and 24mg tobacco flavors. My mods and a dozen samples arrived that same morning.
A few occasions I had an urge to light up after diner, just vape away and the craving would disappear after few minutes. Using 18mg right now.

Eight days. I made myself wait as long as possible each day before I attempted to smoke that one cigarette I allowed myself per day and seven of those days I stomped it out after only a few puffs because it tasted soooo bad that I really didnt want to finish it, so I didnt. I knew on that eighth day I was ready to give up that one per day so I smoked the entire cigarette and said goodbye to smoking forever. Had a few unexpected nasty cravings pop up out of the blue over the next few months but I managed to not give in and vaped my way through them.

I haven't had a craving for a cigarette in well over a year now, but every once in a while my mind does think how nice it would be to sit and have a relaxing cigarette. Nope, not gonna happen :) :vapor:
