I should say the tank atty to be specific. I wonder because I need to push down the wick a tiny bit about every week in order to keep it wicking properly.

Obviously, if I keep doing this, eventually I'm going to run out of wick. So, anybody know how long the wick is? How long can I keep doing this?

I've read the threads on replacing a wick, and frankly, I don't think I want to get into that level of obsession. BTW, all my attys are about 2 months old, and all are working great otherwise.

Most seem to be around 1/8th of an inch or so from the bottom of the plate. Honestly though, they seem to vary from atomizer to atomizer. I don't think anyone could begin to tell you how long you can keep doing this. Your not burning up you wick by pushing it down BTW, it's made of silicate and will melt at a couple of thousand degrees. Most likely it's getting clogged with gunk and by pushing it down, your just letting more juice flow into the atty. It's really not hard to pop the plate off and burn the wick clean with a lighter. Just keep burning it until it glows red hot. It will turn from black to white once it's clean.
