Ordered on June 10th. I've been pestering (politely) CS constantly. Finally asked for Jason Healy's phone number, *long pause* gave me the CS 800 number. I said I wanted his direct line. They said no, of course. I had to try. But they did give me his e-mail address: Jason@blucigs.com My order shipped the next morning. Coincidence?

I just did the same thing as you suggested, sent a polite email stating I wanted to remain a lifelong customer but this backlog frustration, blah, blah, blah. And , almost immediately, I got a response from Jason Healy stating that he contacted Wharehouse manager and would have my order shipped immediately. We'll See.

A "lifelong customer" of a product that's been out for about two months?

You don't think you were overplaying your hand a bit? ;)

I also just sent good Mr. Healy a polite email about both my excitement and disappointment about blu. I mean if it were not for their viral advertising most of us would never have Known about ecigs at all, or is it just me?

agreed. I found out about ecigs themselves through blu advertising, and found this forum when i started trying to find out more about them. So if it weren't for blu i wouldn't know about either. which is one of the reasons i'm not canceling my order.

Just checked my blu account and it says shipped too...smoke and mirrors?

possibly, but it makes sense to send out orders to the most active people first since they're generating the buzz. I just wrote him an email as well. Gonna see what happens. Not expecting a shipped order today but it'll still be nice to hear what he has to say.

Soooo just checked my email, he replied in 7 MINUTES. which is awesome. like i said i wasn't (and still aren't) expecting to actually get mine any sooner since it's barely been over 2 weeks and most people seem to wait at least a month, but here's my email and his.

Subject: a customer who ISN'T mad at you

body:
Dear Mr. Healy

Hopefully you get a good 60 seconds to read this email, and maybe relax a bit. I'm not writing to you to yell about the delays or customer service. I in fact wanted to thank you. I have been reading the same forums from which many people are referring to when talking about some of the negative comments the blu company have gotten online, contrary to what some people say, I wanted say "Thank you" to you and the rest of the team at blu. I have read comments from other people who agree with me as well. If it weren't for your marketing efforts me and many others wouldn't even know e-cigs existed, and actually, if it weren't for some of the shipping issues many of us would never have found the online e-cig communities we've come to enjoy. I can understand the difficulties related to trying to meet such high expectations when you weren't expecting them and i excitedly await my first blu starter pack. I believe once these small difficulties have been ironed out that blu will be a fantastic product line.

Sincerely,
J. L.

and his reply:

Hey Jeremy, thanks for the email. Despite the delays and issues we are having currently things are moving along well and steps have been taken to increase capacity to ensure that orders are sent out in timely manner once we clear the back log by August 1st.

I have looked at your order and asked if we can bump it up a little so you it will go out this week.

Cheers

UPDATE: just checked my order status and it says "shipped" now I really can't complain about their service. I understand they're having issues and even then, ONE quick communication and my order bumps up the line. (^_^) Just like everyone else who's had their status changed, i don't know if that means it's ACTUALLY shipping today, or if they're just trying to make me happy, but either way i'm satisfied for now.

I had ordered my blucigs in early june, maybe 6/6, and received my package exactly one month later, 7/6. I'm pretty sure that when the item was first "shipped" that blu had only notified USPS to expect the packaged to be received for shipping, not that the package had actually been shipped. It still took about 5 days from that date that blu had posted that they "shipped" the item, til the day that USPS actually had it in their hands. I was actually impressed with USPS, even during the 4th of july rush it still only took 5 days for them to get it to my door step... but i live in raleigh, nc which is close to charlotte, nc where blu cigs headquarters are apparently located so maybe it was fast for me.
I did about 2 weeks worth of research before i stumbled onto blucigs the day i had planned to order a e-cig. Blu seemed to me to have the best fit. I wanted a e-cig that was astetically pleasing to the eye: same size as real ciggarette, Option to have black color, i like the idea behind the different color LED's "blu, green, red" and i really was just crossing my fingers that it would be as satifying as a real ciggarette. Approaching 7 dollars for a pack of newports or camel menthols i was spending about that much a day, around 7 dollars. i didnt want to quit smoking, i just could not afford the prices, and yes, my stamina is about down to zero, i sweat after walking up stairs, im tired alot during the day, and alot of people who dont smoke, are ".......s" about the smell so i had alot of reasons like most of you do to try an alternative.
On to the BluCigs. I would say that at this point I've learned alot about these things. The packaging was very nice, but like i really cared too much about the packaging, i payed $60 for the cig. I received 2 batterys, one DOA, one usb charger, also DOA, 2 atomizers, so i guess i got a bonus extra atty and i read alot about this happening for other ppl, wall charger and 25 carts. I went throught the carts in about 4 days just experimenting with them. They do taste great, but its not 15 cigs worth like they claim, and its not 7cigs like some ppl have said. In my opinion it might be considerd to be 5-7cigs depending on who you talk to. They have a VERY light throat hit, and i was never really satisfied with the carts like i was with a real cig. I researched E-liquid and smoking liquid on the internet and decided to order some befor i just give up and return the Blu. I went with Totally Wickeds e-smoking liquid 30ml super high strength DIY, no flavor because it already has tobacco essence oil in it which i assumed would hav a nice taste. Pillbox 38's shipping was A++ by the way. After i got the liquid, i started to just carry a couple of carts with me in my charging case, and periodically just topped them off with a dropper. BTW, what everyone is saying is correct, the carts are spent after only half use. My opinion, the atty on the BluCig may not be the best because the battery is small, it is VERY difficult to take a drag from these things and you will hav to get used to it. You have to take a primer hit and them pull with your lungs for about 5 secs. its annoying as hell at first, but i guess a e-cigs are similar. My experience with using the liquid, ontop of keeping the batterys fully charged, and drilling out the holes on the carts so that you can inhale just a little easier, the Blu eventually becomes somewhat satisfying.
My conclusion: With a little opened mindness, patience, acceptance of this new thing called e-cigs, and a hell of alot of research, I can state that i hav not purchased a pack of Real Analog Cigs for about 2 weeks. Don't get me wrong, i miss smoking, and if i find a better e-cig to fill the position i will return the blu, but for now i don't miss spending $7 a day on real ciggs. So with the savings on cigs, I feel like that I atleast got what I payed for. For those of you still waiting.... I hope you like it if you ever get it, i would say that it only took a week to receive a couple of replaced batterys and a new usb charger after i told them that one was DOA and i was concerned about the other one, which is actually starting to die out now. i think the electronics for this cigs is what holds it back. its reliability is 50/50, much like the company itself seems. and i do mean 50/50. Half the time it works great, half the time you curse the ppl you bought it from cause you cant get a decent hit out a NEW cartrige you just put in it. IDK, looking back if i knew the wait was going to be soo long, i probibly would have taken the time to try another cigg with a 30day money back guarantee, which it seems like most do. I could have tried another one, and returned it if that would have been the case, by the time my blu cig had gotten here. I would like to try the M403 or 402 at some point, E-lites seemes to be the exact same thing as BluCigs, so i would check them out. I researched some about the Trade key and wholesale markets in China and found out that the "Blu Starte Kits" can be bought, obviouslly un-branded, and it was 6 starter kits for $130. So these things really are cheap, im sure other ppl will start to rebrand and sell these. Ill try to find the website that wholesales this product. Buy one lot and just resale the rest to your friends and bam.... free starter pack and a little extra money for yourself.....hummm.... maybe i can do that....
Thanks for reading a happy vaping c:

Possibly, but apparently it worked. And I think I worded it something like. "I've heard good things from the people who have received, therefore, I'm looking forward to being a lifelong customer, However......"
