I'm confused - all this talk about LIGHT bulbs? - I just loaded 1000 of 'em (co-op purchase) in the back of da old chevy and the dang thing sagged !!!! It definately got HEAVIER - not LIGHT at all :(

Looking to trade the load for some "Dark Suckers" - you know, those things that suck up all the 'dark' in the room when some sort of power is applied to their elements.

You mean so you can have these benefits as well?
Consider the benefits!

* Downtown areas instantly converted into nighttime festivals even at noon through the generous use of megawatt Dark Bulb flood lamps!
* Romantic interludes made possible in darkened surroundings at a moment's notice, and hidden from prying eyes by a portable Dark Bulb Lantern!
* Shade-loving plants now possible even in the most relentlessly sun-exposed area, thanks to GroDark Plant and Landscape Bulbs!

I haven't been on this thread in a while... yes, I went back to candles for a while, but am getting back on track. Thought I'd come in to see what is new (and yes, I read all 50 pages AGAIN. LOL).

On Noes... no posts in a month here? Must... resurect... this... thread!! LOL

My new mods. First is my new variable wattage (VW) bulb. The Carlon Bulb Box. No more screwdriver, as it has a knob so I know right where it is at.

I haven't been able to bulb on Bright (150W) much. Makes me squint (but we all know that high wattage bulbing does that and I'll get used to it over time).

My other new mod... Don't know much about it, but it seems to fulfill many needs for me and has put a spring in my step. For some odd reason, I have an uncontrollable desire to get one in every color they have.

While I'm waiting for a reply back to this long over due discussion (3 weeks or so?) I'll just continue to ponder this...

Q: How many surrealists? does it take to change light bulb?

A: A fish

:2cool:

It has been a long time H.A.H. So great to chuckle again on this thread, isn't it.

Now on to business, we have adopted a whole new standard for safe bulbing. I feel it my responsibility to update you on the latest and safest PT for bulbing.

If you are personally not into PT's, then be safe and use these on your bulbs.

Good luck!

SuZamme! Yes ma'm... it was great to come back to this (and my bulbin' buds!).

So, any experience with this mod?

The ladies seem to like them... but they're expensive... no free rides.

(get it? moustache... OKAY, I'll stop. oops in trouble now...).

For some reason, men don't like this mod, but all the women seem to be snapping them up like crazy. Be warned, they're expensive, no warranty... no free rides.
