100 items PSSSH! I have that much in juice alone (not really but it is quite a bit). It's pretty easy to accumulate that many items depending on what those items are drip tips protank heads etc.
Now if dude has 100 mods yea that's pretty impressive (and unnecessary). But if he wants to do it that's his choice.

And yes dude needs to cut back on the nic just a wee bit.

Obviously more power to him. But I'm sure it won't seem so many accessories in a year when I start stocking up, hahaha. Watch for my re-post a year from now. The trolls will be shouting hypocrite, hahaha.

People who have been vaping the last three years would have seen looks of new and improved hardware coming out and would have been under constant bombardment with advertising; stuff keeps coming out that people only dreamed about- even now, joyetech, kanger and aspire recently came out with attempts to address airflow; that's something that has been begging to get done for a long time, but there was more money to be made on the power side of things so it never did get done.

if you buy enough stuff so that you have enough backups, then new and better stuff comes out so you buy more stuff and backups for that stuff, then again it happens;.. yeah; over the course of 3 years I can see somebody ending up with something like a hundred pieces of things; he might have 10 or 20 CE4's, 10 or 20 cartos, a pack of 10 v-nanos with some auto batteries to use in situations where they want cigalikes and not attract attention with a great big fog machine at social engagements.

Lots of tanks are very affordable and for some people worth trying out, but they maybe end up on the shelf.

Well, look at it this way: Smoking was something that many of us really enjoyed, but it was never something that we were able to actively engage ourselves with beyond satisfying our habitual urge to smoke. We enjoyed cigarettes peripherally; almost like we might enjoy the music playing in the background of a restaurant while we carried on a conversation with someone over dinner.

Vaping lets us interrupt that conversation and put the headphones on for a while, so to speak. With so many toys and gadgets and flavors and new things to explore, we now find ourselves faced with a proposition that is far more powerful than simple cigarette addiction: Vaping gives us opportunity to engage in a genuinely enjoyable activity that we can interact with and even mold to our own personal liking. Cigarettes offer nothing in that regard. You buy 'em, you smoke 'em. Rinse, repeat, ad infinitum (or until it kills you, whichever comes first... usually the "kills you" part).

It's very interesting behavior that we exhibit as vapers. I'm sure there are some psychological factors at work here too, but I'll leave that for someone more educated than myself to explore.

In the meantime, yeah. So what. I got some vapin' stuff. :vapor: :vapor: :vapor:

I find the nic level/amount hard to believe! Now...as far as the "mods" are concerned, there's never too many! I'm getting ready to purchase four new ones next week. I've got my eye on probably another five that I'll get by summer. I'm still learning about new ones every day. This forum is tough on the debit card.

Well....I vape about 3-4 full tanks of juice a day of 4mg. I just LOVE to vape. I don't know what is too much in the way of devices...I have 2 spinners, a VTR, a V-Tube, an Itase VV, an evic, a smok gripper and just bought an MVP 2 and I have a smok pipe mod and another pipe mod in the mail. I have 3 protank 3's a protank aero, 3 evods and about 50 different juices. I think any addictive type behavior comes through just like smoking so.....I love it and I am still spending less than smoking

Don't know how much is too much, if you can't pay the mortgage because you're buying mod after mod, I guess that would be too much.

I have 2 eVics, 16 tanks, 5 spinners, 30+ drip tips, batteries, chargers, and lots of cartos, attys, spare parts, extra heads, etc... and I'm still shopping and buying more. Doesn't count the stuff I have DIYing my own juice.

I've had to upgrade my storage system 3 times now to hold everything in a manner that fits my OCD personality.

One of the oldest B&M's in this area is run by a man that chain-smoked 3+ packs a day of some hard core brand--Camel or Winston I think. He is always in a vapor fog, always helping other vapers, literally lives, breathes, walks & talks vaping. I can easily see him going through 20ml of 24mg per day.

If you switch from smoking brand name cigarettes @ $5.00+ per pack and 3+ packs per day--you can afford barrels of premium e-liquid and truck loads of shiny new toys.

Don't believe the nicotine stated. Not even sure if it's even possible to vape 20 mils in a day. 100 items? Not remotely a stretch. I had half that many or more clearos in the first 6 months, and counting carto tanks and RBA/RDA's another 20 or so, and APV's and PV's, more than 30, so that's a hundred, and I haven't started counting a whole bunch of other stuff. However, I have sold and PIF'd probably 70% of that to others. Is 70 drip tips obsessive? I don't think so. I'm down to 12 PV's/APV's now. Is that obsessive? I certainly don't think so. I'm at my bear minimum. I chain vaped 24 mg/ml the first probably 6 months, and I'm down to 6 mg/ml a year later, but I never got close to 20 mils in a day. I probably had some 12 ml days, but 20? I personally doubt it. As a previous poster mentioned, it may be possible with certain RDA setups, but that doesn't leave much time for anything else, like breathing, certainly not work, at least not in my case. Interesting thread though. Averaging one pull a minute, every minute, you're going to be very close to 24 hours for 20 mils (lots of variables that would affect this calculation). I would think our bodies need more oxygen than nicotine, for example. Would like to see the breakdown and calculation, setup, frequency, etc. on the 20 mils/day.

First is an early, very old picture of my stuff. Had at least 50 clearos during this period. Second is another early picture showing probably 50 items (APV/PV's and toppers). Third is my much more organized Vaping Corner now. Fourth is an early picture of my old mod holder showing close to 50 items (the front rack is repeated on a back rack behind the mods. Fifth is one of the larger collections I have ever seen (that I have a picture of) and shows at least 300 - 400 vape items. I've seen plenty of pictures like this too, and even more.

I have never thought to count individual vape gear items to arrive at a number (like 100). I find that a bit odd. I think if one were to count drip tips, vaping tools, juice, etc.......all in....I would guess most experienced vapers would easily be over 100 items. I know I'm not in the top 1000 (gear wise).

Summarize:
20 mils per day: unlikely
100 vaping gear items: very likely, and probably there are plenty of Forum Folk with 500 - 1,000 different items. I've seen some really gigantic collections on ECF. 100 wouldn't crack the top 1,000 on this Forum. Of this I am certain. Thanks for sharing!

Wow! 20ml @ 24mg is a lot (equivalent to roughly 1 1/2 cartons of analogs a day) seems pretty outrageous. Usually when I'm on my vamo a lot I go through 3 1/2 to 5 ml a day.

What's the most accurate calculator to find out how much nic we are actually getting into our system instead of just in the liquid. If such exists. I seen one study done on you tube by a female student at a British university about the actual amount and can not find it. She calculated, if I remember correctly that we get substantially less nic that typical smokers per mg in the cig vs ejuice. If anyone can find something like this I would really appreciate it. Thank you all kindly and I appreciate the input. 15 days no analog !!

That's nuts. Like many here I am lucky if I can get through 5ML in a day of 1.8. As far as the collection goes, I think it's a progression of sorts. I started out vaping on just a regular V2 starter kit, then wanted more so went with an eGo, played around with about 10 different tanks on that, then got myself an SVD, then started getting into rebuildables like my igoW or russian 91%, and I just recently put in an order for a Futura. This is after about 8 months of vaping, so I can see someone with more expendable income really racking up the gear pretty quick.

Hey everyone,

Nic here with a quick (possibly idiotic) question. At what point does a vape collection get to be an obsession and too much to handle. I recently ran into a sales person at my local vape store who told me he has over 100 different batteries, carts, atomizers, mods and the like. Not that I couldn't fathom that many accessories, but to which point does the hobby end and the addiction to nicotine become something worse then when you were smoking analogs? He was bragging about vaping more than 20ml's of juice a day of 24mg, is that even safe? Hahaha.

Anyways, I appreciate any feed back guys :)

Dear god!!! I vape anywhere from 2-6ml of 6mg and that's plenty. I think if someone was going to fall ill from too much vape it'll be that guy.
