Today is my 6 month anniv of no analogs. I havent done all the math but consider the following...
Marlboro lights were average 5 bucks a pack 7days a week= $35 add to that days where i smoked a bit over a pack and it would be safe to say $40 weekly. Also about 5 of 7 times I went in for a pack I would also buy a coke, maybe a snack and some breath mints or gum of some type so thats about $3 to $4 additional about 5 times a week=another $20 a week. also there were times when I got up and went to the store specifically to get a pack of smokes. price of gas being what it is safe to say $2.00 gas weekly. so that = $62 a week = right close to $250 a month.
Since started vaping and getting initial startup costs out of way, couple kits and juice and xtra batt and few xtras maybe as much as $600 I actually had 2 months where I bought nothing (would have been $500 worth on analogs). Now I'm maybe spending 30 a month on e-cig stuff and juice prolly less than that but just for a highish figure for comparison. $250 a month vs. $30 a month......saving money? I'd say so.

I quit smoking soley for health reasons. I was a 2 PAD smoker at $5 per pack. The first year vaping I spent about the same as my cig habit. Now 2+ years into vaping I spend 1/3. My monthly vaping order consists of 4 bottles of-30ml BWB juice and 15 dual cartos-around 90$. So, it took some time for me to start saving but now I am.

I $hould break even in another two week$ or $o. About a quarter of my 'investment' is due to experimentation/curiousity. I've gone two weeks now without any e-cig expenses and will go another two weeks from the looks of my supplies.

My biggest recent savings is from not jumping at the 'latest & greatest' gadgetry. I'm sure that at some future point, and after positive ECF user beta-testing evaluations, I'lll pick up a few additional goodies. But now that I have my eGo batts and eGo Mega DCCs, I'm good to go for the foreseeable future.

I quit smoking to save my life. Thank God is wasn't to save money, because I have spent probably about $2500 on vaping since April 2011. I'm sure somewhere down the line I will break even and start saving. I am way more addicted to vaping then I was smoking. At this point, I really don't care because I will be able to see my daughter grow up. Ok, off to the classifieds! :D

Hubby and I both smoked. Him 2 PAD, me 3 PAD. (at $5 a pack) (His savings are not in my sig box, only mine.)
We've been vaping for 2 years and 4 months.

We've saved a TON of money. We've never bought a mod, he makes them for us.
We buy cartos and some pre-made juice. I DIY a lot.

I am, sadly, addicted to drip tips. (Just got 4 new ones this morning. But they're Mings and they were ON SALE:blush:)

We bought a horse. I adore him.

Yeah, we're saving money.

Yes, right there with you Rose!! I have spent a TON on vaping since May, 2011....close to or maybe more than you have spent. This is NOT a money saving proposition in any way shape or form ! On the days that all equipment is working, juice is good, I forget about the money (almost) because I have analogs lying around my house and in my purse and have NOT smoked one !!!! For me, personally, this isAmazing !! Now, because I am vaping WAY more than I ever smoked, I will try to figure out a way to taper off my vaping! I don't know HOW I'm going to do that! LOL!!

I vape since MArch and have spend well over $1000 on vaping already. Now since mid June I have found my setup and finally start to safe money. I would say in the first 2 month every vaper spends way way more on vaping than we would on smoking but after that when you know what juices, attys, pvs, etc etc you like than you can actually safe money.

WOW! $2500 since april? I bet you have a pretty interesting collection x)
Glad to hear that some people care about their health, unlike myself. But I guess that's pretty natural for younger people. Give it 10 years and I'll probably start caring xP

I don't want to go into how much I've spent but I'm nowhere close to saving money. I don't think I ever will be also, this is a hobby now and all the money spent is well worth the happiness.

Health is a big deal even at a young age. I'm only 23 and I'm a lot happier now that I'm not smoking cigarettes. I can go running and keep running for a lot longer now without gasping for air because my lungs were weakened from the cigarettes. I quit smoking and lost a ton of weight also because I feel a lot better, I just vape and work out until I can't move anymore.
