My average smoking habit was about 400 dollars a month give or take after my initial large purchases etc I was still ahead at end of first year and in a few weeks I will hit my 2 year mark. I can honestly say I have saved in the neighborhood of $3500 this year if you take into account the price of analogs going up since I quit.

I know that this is not everyone's reason for quitting cigarettes, but some people do switch to vaping because e-liquid is cheaper than cigarettes. My main reason for quitting was strictly to save money. I didn't care about my health or anything of that nature. Some people prefer to go all out and spend twice as much on tons of vaping supplies and hardware. I'm just curious to know who is doing what. Who is vaping because it's the cheap alternative, and who is spending twice or even three times as much on their vaping supplies as they did cigarettes?

Saving money. Breathing better. Having a nice clean car. Occastional real-cigarette without return to 2 packs a day. Getting a nic fix with just a few tokes while on the run doing something else. These are the real benefits.

Abstinence. Avoiding cancer. Lording it over smokers. Being the savior of the world of smokers. Making a social statement. These are all delusions in the mind of an ego maniac.
