I noticed that I get a sore throat with the liquid I mix myself with Lorann's. I've never gotten one with premixed ejiuce from anyone and I've tried a lot of them - nobacco, TW, janty, etc.
The cinnamon roll lorann's is very harsh. Maybe I used too much.
The only times I have had a reaction (to anything e-cig realated) has been when using JC Vanilla Ice Cream and
anything I put Lorann's in. With both I get a scratchy sore throat not like strep or anything that feels like its in your glands, but a superficial scratchy sore throat and I experience immediate chest congestion/inflammation. Like I am having an asthma attack. While smoking I used to use a Albuterol inhaler 3 - 6 times a day. I haven't had to use my inhaler since I quit smoking, except for when I use JC Vanilla Ice Cream and the Lorann's.
I purchased the sample pack from JC's and all of the other flavors work fine for me.
I am sure this is a somewhat unique allergy and I have no clue why its ALL of the Lorann's flavors (clear, colored, whatever) and I have tried about 12 different flavors. It's a pretty mild reaction. I don't know if it could turn into a severe reaction, because I stopped using both (flavoring and juice). I tried a flavor a day (Lorann's), once a day, and it happened with every flavor, everytime. I made DIY liquids with it, and added it to already flavored liquids, same result each time. I have had no other problems with other flavored liquids from multilple suppliers (I am a e-cig shopaholic on a quest for the perfect flavor).
I wish I knew what it was, cause some of Walrus' flavors sound awesome, but for now I am forced to stick with commercial juices. Thank goodness there are a lot of good ones out there.
PS - Sometimes I think some people's sore throat may come from sucking too hard on their PVs. There is a bit of a learning curve to getting the right drag down.
