I started at 15 with my "cool" buddies, so just shy of 31 years. After 2 days of vaping I give up analogs completely. I'd also like to add that, although for years I'd felt the physical, financial and social negative of smoking, I had NO DESIRE to give them up. I have always enjoyed smoking. I just wanted an alternative due to the "suffering" I went through when I had to spend time in one of a bizillion banned areas. Now, I'm a former smoker and never conceived it to be a possibility. ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY VAPORIZER!!!

I think we maybe twins?..... Heh, Heh, Heh

Perhaps triplets. 37 years of smoking here... and I never had any intention to quit.

I bought a carton 4 weeks ago, just about the same time that I got my 510. Normally that carton would have lasted me 5 days tops. Sometime yesterday or the day before.. I smoked the last analog of that carton. Didn't freak out about it.. didn't feel like I had to run to the corner and buy a pack or a carton so I had something in my pocket. Calm.

Last night we had a group over for drinkin' and card playin' (in that order, don't care what the wife says). Didn't have any analogs on me and it didn't bother me one single bit. Calm.

Very, very weird sensations.

I started when I was 13 and smoked for 37 years. You can do the math.. but that makes me 29.... ;-)
Yeah, me, too. I'm 29 and I smoked for about 45 years. 2-3 packs a day.

I never even wanted to quit. For years, I've been ordering cigs online and saving a ton of money, but when S-CHIP passed, that was IT FOR ME!!!!!

I started smoking at 19 and will be 60 in January 2010. I had to force myself to like it and get used to it. All my friends smoked, so I did too.

In April 2009 I ordered my first e-cig, stopped smoking VA Slims (used to smoke Marlboro before that) completely after only 3 days and have been totally tobacco cigarette free ever since.

So after many tries of all the NRTs (which never worked at all for me), hypnosis, magnets, gum, lozengers, inhaler etc., I finally managed to quit a 4 pack a day habit.

I certainly regret the 41 years it took me to stop smoking cigarettes and it did take a heavy toll on my health, but hopefully things will not get any worse from here on in.
