I was just thinking.. Right now I'm just getting started on this vape thing (again)
and I keep ordering stuff and I'm thinking, wait, I didn't even get my first Ego yet!
My first order was one 1300mah/CE4 with 60ml of juice and a assortment of tanks.

Then I thought again, Wait! what if I need another battery? So order number 2!
One more 1300mah/CE4 and a few more tanks.

Then (here I go, thinking again) 1300mah batteries are kinda long. If if I'm on the bike
and I have no place for it? So, order number 3 go's in along with another 30ml of juice
and a 650mah/CE4...and... you guessed it. More carts..

Then thinking again, (man, my .... hurts from all this thinking) This e-juice is starting
to add up fast.. I wonder how I can do this myself and save a little cash without killing
myself? That thought got me here and then to a 4th order ( I hate you people lol)
Now I have Nic, PG, VG and a big handful of flavors on the way..

Does it ever stop! After reading more here I'm working on my next order already..
Now I want one of them big battery MOD things and a few RDA's and a drip atty.
However, I think I'm going to wait til next week.

I have the saving bug. I spread it out as much as possible. At first there is a lot to buy. But things do calm down.
I us an ap to track my spending. My goal is to save 50% over what I spent on analogs. And I have managed to get every thing I need with that goal in mind.
3 ego bats ( each a different mah)
Evod
60 carts ( a Craigslist steal)
4 Pyrex tanks
Provari
Zmax ( backup)
DIY supplies
And a couple cheap rba
In 6 months. For me this is nit a hobby but a habit. To each there own.

once you get past all the disposable stuff, yea it can stop pretty fast, it becomes i want to try not ohh need that to.
then one step further and you have my problem, high end gear, but there isnt much to fear there if you dont like it sell it for almost what you paid and try something else lol

and do it yourself is very smart, once you get past the initial stocking up of nic vg pr etc and find a couple flavors you really like you mix up bulk batches for cheaper then cheap.

i make several but my absolute Favorite is double ry4 from the flavor apprentice it costs me roughly 12-15 bucks to make a 16 oz bottle. thats 16 - 30 ml bottles!
a good mod and some good accesories and the rest is checking out cool gear, and every couple months of saving i buy something nice and still have some left over compared to my old cig habit.

if you feed the need but do it sensibly you can play and save at the same time.

It does eventually subside. At least it did for me. I spent about 400 bucks the first month. I continued to spend about 200 a month for the next 3. You have to try a bunch of stuff in the beginning then you find your rhythm. Now I'm cruising at 50 a month on juice and thats it. I'm 1800ish in the green. Ill tell you though don't screw with mid range Chinese mods. Buy American. Buy once, cry once. Provari is the highest quality tube mod you can get. Feels like a surefire flashlight. It's regulated so first and last puff taste the same everytime. It's Achilles heel is not the mod but the juice delivery because its breakable. Reo is the best box mod. Carries the juice on board so no tank on top. If your only getting 1 get the reo. If you drop it on concrete your juice is still in it. If 2 then the provari also. Ha I just added $450 to your bill, talk about enabling. Yeah eventually you should end up in the green if you stick with it.

The beginning is definitely expensive. Seems like the big trend is order a starter kit and then wanting the next best thing. I'm dealing with it too. Lol

Just spent a little over $200 this month. Had some credit card rebates I cashed in so its not so bad. That and being an edicated consumer helps.. hetting the best deals in town! 1 more order of juice this month. Next month juices of course and perhaps an order from fasttech for an MVP or 2.

At first I spent a lot. I got rid of the disposables and now am running APV's with RBA's and RDA's and have enough rewicking materials that I wouldn't HAVE to spend another dime for quite a while. I also have my nic etc. for DIY.

I think it comes to about 25 cents per day now.

Once you find your all day vape, the spending will stop. I found mine in a REO Grand, the simplicity of a mechanical with a nice bottom fed atty I can coil right where I want it and my favorite mix is perfect for me.

I hope you find your perfect vape much more quickly than I!

I started just a month under 2 months ago.
Once I got set up with a spinner and an eVic, I went ahead and got a about 10 evods and 20 protank coils.
Now I spend about $30 every 2 weeks picking up new flavors online and in the B&M store near me.

Assuming my coils last me 2 weeks each, I should be good till this time next year..

I'm not sure exactly how much I spend - much less then $10 a month. But the I vape unflavored e-liquid that I buy 60mg/ml and cut down to 30mg/ml buy adding VG. That has so much advantages, besides being healthier (you don't really know what is in the flavorings), it also means that a single Smoktech DCT cartomizer last me a month of heavy vaping, simply because it doesn't get gunked up.
