I'm curious to know how much you guys spend, on average, on vaping (equipment/parts/juice/etc).
How does it compare to what you were spending on analogs?

I'm about 5 weeks into vaping now, and I've spent almost $200. I threw away more money than I ever thought I would buying disposables, because I just liked them so much...but that had to stop!

Now that I have a setup that I like, I am only spending an average of $15-20 a week. I don't intend to buy disposables anymore except for an occasional change of pace, or if I find myself in that unfortunate situation of being away from home and running out of juice. I don't expect that to happen, though, since I almost always carry extra juice and an extra battery with me.

All things considered, this is shaping up to be a relatively inexpensive habit hobby. :)
I know that sooner or later, I'm gonna want to "upgrade" my setup, but I'm not really bothered about it for the time being. I'm content just buying clearomizers and e-juice.

Averaged out, around $50 a month between my wife and me. Huge savings compared to cigarettes. Taking that money and doing some good things with it. Went to the Capital One Bowl earlier this month and going to the NFC Championship game in Atlanta this weekend. GO FALCONS!:thumb::vapor: Oh, YES I will be vaping hard in the Georgia Dome. I actually sat next to a guy earlier this season and he was a vaping too.

Well since I'm new, not that much. I bought my first kit for Php 2,800 ($70). I'll be selling the whole kit to my cousin in a few weeks but next week I'll be purchasing a Sigelei Telescope full mech kit with Phoenix v3 atty and branded batteries and charger, all for Php 4,200 ($104). After the deal with my cousin I'll be at about $70 still. Quite cheap IMHO.

In a month I have spent probably $800 but that's for myself and my wife and I like to buy stuff. As my wife would say it I like to over do things. Also I don't want to run out. We haven't fully quit analogs which is why I don't update my signature but we have cut way down and between us we have probably saved about $200 to $250 from analogs in that time. But what I do isn't what has to be done to vape. Right now I have like 25+ kinds of juices(most I don't like lol) and 5 more should be in the mail today and enough cartomizers, clearomizers and novas with extra heads to last us months. Won't stop me from getting more though. My wife is probably right....like always.

Seriously though,
I have only been vaping for 4 months now and this is my story.
I started with a Blu cig I picked up from the gas station one evening on a curious whim, (oh, this isnt so bad). I later bought a Blu starter kit, with a few boxes of pre-filled cartos to go with. That was good enough to get me off analogs, but short of a great vape.....I wanted more. So I then I hit the internet, this forum and you tube. Educated my self on the vast-complex world of e-cigs and decided on an upgrate. I got two 1000mah ego twists (one for the wife, cuz she was sneeking my blu's) some cartos, a few tanks, a few attys and some juice. The juice was good, but again, I wanted more! More flavors, diffenent strengths, different company brands ect....
The ego twists were and still are great. Adjustable voltage, very compatible/flexible devices.
That kept me satiated for about a month, but I wanted MORE.
I then ordered a Silver Buller, some batteries, a battery charger, a Kick and a glass tank!!!! WOW, thats what I've been looking for. Immediately I fell in love with the big battery mods. AWESOME. I then was hooked, and I have been obsessed with vaping since.
I just love the different devices, attys, cartos, tanks ect.....I cant stop!!!! I am a tinkerer and love to just play around with new shiny toys and accessories. I NEED more.....
So about a month later, I order a beautiul satin black Provari mini with green LED (for her) and I ordered a stainless steel Z max for myself!! (Got to take care of the woman, she gets the best stuff), two custom pyrex glass Phiniac tanks and of course new batteries and a new battery charger. Need some new juice for the new devices, of course, so I got that too!!!!!!!
Very pleased and happy this month, but what will next month have to offer????
Bankruptcy???
So my monthy expenses for vaping has been considerably higher than most! My smoking habbit has now turned into a vaping obsession!!! Damn it!!!!! I was supposed to be SAVING MONEY.
My wife is right.....I need help. Anyone know of a local Vapors Annonymous group?? PM me..........

I'm new so I have no average. I do, however, have a spreadsheet (good to know I'm not the only geek on here :D) In it I calculate the amount of $$ I've saved not buying smokes and the amount spent thus far on vaping. I've calculated a break-even date for my start up costs that is based on my previous daily smoking costs (it should be in my signature, 2/2). As long as I spend less than $100 a month on vaping after that, I'm still coming out on the better financial end of this.

Average was $300 for 1st six months and $120 for 7th month. Some of that was shipping. I am getting better about waiting for sales, Waiting until I need larger order to get free shipping in some of my places, saying no to trying a recommendation of something I already have in other brand, if a vender has my necessary item I check their DIY to add new flavor if they have ones on my list from
certain sources. Before I follow a recommendation I wait because sometimes follow up posts or new threads reveal a fatal flaw with it, for me using it anyway. But if I were to do DIY all the time and quit using WTA I could get it down to a lot less, maybe $40-$60 a month at 24-36 mg nic. But if I really am out of money I would be able to vape 4ml a day unflavored high quality pg VG mix to 30 mg nic for less than $7.00 a month and unflavored is boring so I probably would vape only when I really felt I needed it instead of as a fun hobby. Id need to spend about $2.50 a month on new battery. Not counting the $300 a month for 6 months part......this is cheap cheap cheap! After FDA does its things I wonder what I'll have to invest at the cheapest? Well even if it triple that's less than $30 a month. To ad flavor wouldn't be a big expense....just thinking out loud

It does slow down over time for most of us. Some of us make it a hobby and that's fine too--but expenses don't go down as rapidly if you do.

Right now, I'm about $1700 in the black compared to smoking after 4 months. And I DIY and just got a large order of supplies, so I reset lower this month than I have been previously. And yes, I also keep an Excel spreadsheet. :)

Post this, my need to spend anything for a while goes way down, so the savings rack up fast.

Im 12 days analog free and ive already spent over $500. I went with the provari mini as my first mod and got 7+ Tanks 2 drip atomizers and a nice collection of juices.

Check out the app vapemate on the apple app store(not sure it they have it for android) it will keep track of how long youve been analog free, analogs avoided, money saved on smoking, and money spent on vaping. ive already calculated and i wont break even till im 55 days smoke free.

Well I used to spend on average upwards toward $12 per day on cigs, Lordy!!!
Since I started vaping (part-time) in November till full time on Jan. 1st, about $400 give or take.
I am still looking for a delivery system to stick with, so far, Ego, EgoC, got a Volt X2 for work.
And of course HHV
My wife just rolls her eyes when I announce "vapemail", but she digs that I've quit cigs.
Think I'll keep "vapemail!!" to myself though.
