Atomizers and batteries. Both are consumables, in addition to your juice.

And, you might get addicted to trying different PVs out. Or, you might get lucky and be perfectly content with your first purchase. If you hope for that, you'd better do a LOT of reading ... and be very lucky. LOL
I think there might be a few people here who only have a single model.

Once you build up you base supplies of jucie and liquid your only real expense is trying new flavors (or you might get into mods in a big way which can cost you, or you might want to try every PV onthe market - som eof our members can attest to that! lol gadget love)
Initial outlay can be as cheap, or as pricey, as you want to make it.
I started on 1 nobox kit which came with 1 set of filled carts - $35
Some juice (not nearly enough btw) - $10.00 and a PT $20
so my first 2 weeks was $65
After that Ive been getting a ton more juice and another nobox kit off Cignot so the cost climbed. I got another kit so I would have a backup attys and batts.
I didn't 'need' any of the extras but I love tasting new jucies and I didnt want to get caught with a bad atty/batt going south at the wrong time.
I switched from using carts to dripping and all my attys are still working fine.

I was a three pack a day smoker...$240 a month!
You must've quit smoking quite a while back!

My smokes were going for about $7/pack ... I calculate that as over $600 a month for 3/day.

It depends on where you get them. I would drive an hour to a casino on a reservation in Idaho to get mine. I would go every 2 weeks and pick up some cartons for me and my hubby.

They were about $3.50 a pack out there. If I were to get them here in town they were about $6.50 a pack. It was in August that I bought my last smokes. So maybe they were getting them cheap like that or something.

I was a RYO guy as well. But I still went through about $20 a week. Before the tax went up it was a lot less. The tax hike by % was nuts plus the company I got mine from tried to save it's customers money by making a lighter tobacco and I just didn't like it as much. Then I got lucky and found this site. As you can see from my counter on the bottom I am yet to break even and sense I ordered more juice to try out new flavors it is probably off a little. However, I think if I can keep myself from trying every product on the market I will eventually save money over even rolling my own. I am thinking that once everthing settles in and I find what works for me I will probably be looking at around $40 a month. The biggest bonus is that I haven't had a cig sense the day I got my 510 from Cignot.

You know what to think of it, I might actually have been conservative in the cost of cigs because there always was the once a month or so when I was out and about and got stuck buying a pack because I ended up out of town for a day longer than I was supposed to be and I got tired of my friends giving me the evil eye for bumbing smokes off of them.

I tend to buy things in bulk (5-10 attys at a time, 4 30ml dekangs). But i spend about the same as i spent on pall malls... (less if you factor in the advair, allegra, and all the other COPD meds i was taking so i could continue smoking). Im 33... I got COPD... because of vaping, i might live til tommorow, woot !

yep I rolled off and on for a couple years then the tax hit and 20 bucks a bag for full flavor 6 oz tobbaco.. and tube prices even went up... it became hardly worth the effort so I switched back totally to pre packaged smokes.. even though the initial investment seems heavy for ecigs I know I am going to save money in the long run if I stick with it..(still on day one, only 3 analogs so far... compared to 2 1/2 - 3 pks a day)

Just my smoking at 2 packs a day, more depending on my pain level, that's a carton every 5 days, 6 cartons a month. So I was spending $240 a month on just me. My son was smoking a pack a day so that's another 3 cartons, another $120 a month. I was averaging spending about $300 a month on ecigs and supplies. I am now to the point that all I buy is replacements. If an atty goes out I buy one to replace it. If a bottle of liquid goes empty I get another one. The last two months I have only spent $50 a month. I have enough supplies to keep my son, my best friend, my hubby (if he ever goes back to vaping) and myself for over two years without buying anything else except for some PG and VG to cut with.
