Honestly i used to spend next to nothing maybe $60 a month for replacement coils and liquid, but now im into the hobby aspect and i spend alot on new equipment as im really enjoying all the new equipment coming out but if i were in your financial situation and was only vaping to not smoke and save money i could still get by on the 60 a month and that was for 2 people.

For the first 3 months I should break even on cost since my switch from analogs to vaping (the hardware is an upfront cost). For my own personal health breaking even seems like a major deal regardless of cost.

After the first 3 months I will be saving lots of money from making the switch, but even if continue to break even for the first year AND I don't use analogs again - I see myself as winning.

My first month, I spent somewhere between $500 and a grand. (I'm too afraid to add it all up for an exact number. I suspect $750-ish.) I was searching for the right flavors and setup. Now that I know what I like, I spend next to nothing. I decided to invest in some DIY supplies, too, so that helps a lot. I make my own juice and rebuild all of my old spent coils. (Thank you, YouTube!)

I spent $180 a month on copenhagen snuff before I started vaping. Now I buy around six 30ml bottles of juice at $10 each. Vapor sense BM gives 50% discount to veterans. So I spend around $60 a month.

Now I did spend some coin on equipment. But have settle in with the istick 50 and atlantis. Just bought the Lemo 2 so I wouldn't have to buy coils anymore.

Lets see

Removing the playing and impulse buys tnat really are not needed.

I use rba's a few were bought from! Fasttech for like 12-15 bucks over a year ago, we won't talk about the authentics for this though. My kraken has got to be closing in on two years, best 11 bucks ever.

I think i paid 21 bucks for a 250ft spool of wire like 16 months ago, that im still working on, i think its actually been longer then that.

10 meters of silica is like 8 bucks stainless mesh was 9 a square foot over a year ago down to my last inches of mesh finally( 2 or 3 more wicks that easily last a month or more)

The initial setup for juice in bulk was probably around 140ish almost 2 years ago, just opened my second gallon of pg last week still have about a 100ml of 100 mg in the freezer so around 16 dollars per pint to make juice probably much cheaper.

So if you remove the buying to just play with stuff that catches my eye my actual maintenance cost for the past 18 months has been probably the 12 dollars for the new roll of silica last month

I know its not easy to come up with money for bulk supplies but when i started i put money in a jar with the amount i needed written on top, once i hit that, i started buying in bulk and havent looked back.

Rebuilding and making juice really is the cheapest option and will save you tons of money if you stop impulse buying.

About $1000 USD last month and this month.

Same here, but in my first and only month, so far. (it hasn't even been a month yet, actually) I thought I'd spend about $100 when it all started, justified by my thinking I'd be saving money. It started a spiral that was unstoppable, because I was dedicated to fully quitting the nasties. $923.27 within my first month - including a few extras, but I should be set for a while - I hope. SO MUCH more than I ever thought even possible. If I had known it'd be like this, I probably wouldn't have boarded this train.

My spending has changed dramatically over the last year, for the 1st 4 years i vaped it was to satisfy my nicotine addiction and the costs were minimal between me and my wife. I would get 3-120ml bottles of juice for $100 and it would last us 4 to 5 months so on the high side say $300 a year and we both had 2 spinners each a year so thats another $100 and we each had 2 tanks which was another 50 and coils we used a five pack a month at $10 so another $120 for a yearly total of $570. Now when we were smoking we each went thru a carton or more each a week at $55 a carton thats $110 a week so basically 5 weeks of smoking compared to a year of vaping. Now onto how that has changed in a BIG way over tne last year to year & 1/2 vaping has become my hobby as im not concerned with ever going back to stinkies or nic addiction as i could stop vaping right now and never touch it again if i wanted to now thats a big if as i love vaping i generally vape 3mg but i also use 0mg as well and i dont have the panic feeling like i did when i smoked that i needed it it's now that i like it and the money i spend now i would not even want to know what it is as im sure its astronomical[emoji12] but seeing my health is better than it has ever been (seeing i started smoking when i was 12, first tried at 10) it will most likely extend my life and make it more enjoyable than if i was still smoking its worth every penny.

I spent $98 for my mod and tank (heatvape invader mini w/ temp control and kangertech subtank mini). Then I spent $35 on a 4 battery charger (18650) and bought four batteries for $30 (35 amp 2500 mah). Every three months I buy two 240 ml bottles of juice for $90 and 5 nickel atomizers for $15.00. So about $35 a month, which isn't two bad considering I usually spent $60-$120+ on cigarettes.

ok so ive spent alot in the two months ive been really into vaping. however, anyone on a budget can get into this for not much cash. my SMOK m80 is about 75 bucks online, you can get a high voltage tank for 30, and a subscription to zamplebox for 25 a month (thats 60-100ml of different flavors delivered to your door) which should last you the month. so all in all if you have about 150 to get started with, youll have a rig that will take you from beginner to cloud blower without having to buy this and buy that here and there. Just my thoughts

I spend more on vaping than I ever did smoking. But smoking was never really a hobby like vaping is for me. I love vaping and suck with money. I make OK money at my job and have very little bills. So I spend atleast $200 a month. One issue is I am cursed with mods, I have been vaping for just over 2 years and I go through mods like water. I also have a PG sensitivity so I have to vape high VG juice which is more expensive than lower VG blends. I just ordered a Hana v4 yesterday and that was $158 after taxes so Im sure I will smash my $200 a month limit this month.. Either way I don't regret any of it. Just wish I could get a mod that is worth a damn (I hope this one will be it but I doubt it with all the DNA 40 issues I hears about)..

WOW!!! some of you guys have me feeling a LOT better about my own vape budget -- thanks for that!

The last couple months have been restocking time for me so WAY above average --

More DIY supplies including enough to stock my freezer in case of crazy ejuice laws $75
IPV4 (WHICH I STILL DONT HAVE DAM YOU P4U!!! lol...) less than 70
invader mini - less than 50
ego-ones -- around 60
DNA40 + accessories/supplies $100
nickoticket ACB 30 ml $16
new batteries $30

soo again WAY WAY more than normal for me at around 400 (probably a touch less.)

Up until a few days ago I was vaping on nothing but a plume veil and fuhatten (both clones) for 7 months (~60 dollars total) I had 2 batts and a charger and this was literally my only gear. Extremely affordable. I DIY

If you are on the fence about DIY, it is very easy and you will not regret it. Lots of good recipes online as well. For me it is extremely difficult to part with 20 bucks for premuim juice unless I feel like splurging.

Just bought a Sig 100watt and Eleaf Lemo2 with wire, coiler jig, 2 Samsung batts, and some DIY flavoring for 130 bucks.

I have enough damn hobbies and don't need another one with vaping so my budget for this stuff is tight. I did not get into vaping to save money, but did not get into to spend
money either.

I was dipping about 20 bucks a week worth of of Skoal so anything averaging more that is what I try to stay under.
