I have been somewhat keeping track of my costs so far for gear and juice. I have Spent approx $160 bucks ( juice, supplies, etc) since I started vaping over the last 3 months and a week. Normally I would buy packs of smokes once in awhile, but most of the time I rolled my own for about $10 a week.So I figure I would have spent about $160 in that same amount of time basically broke even so far.

But the nice part is I learned to DIY my own juice here and have supplies for at least another 6 months or so of juice and vaping sitting here.

As of right not I am about even, but over the next 6 months I will save at least $320 and I am much healthier to boot!

So how about you? Anyone been Vaping a long time that has kept track?

Yes I know a lot of folks have banners posted on their Sigs, but its nice to actually say it out Loud!!! :D

Yeah the initial set up can cost a bit depending which way you go......at some point you will pass the break even mark.

If I kept going like I was I would never have saved money. I bought several mods and RDAs. Some were pretty expensive. I am definitely still in the red but lately ive been buying budget e juice and actually starting to save a bit. It will start to add up to some real savings soon.

I am way ahead, then I am behind, then ahead, then behind.

Lots of ways you can figure it. Eventually when I settle down on the buying I will begin to reap the rewards. For now, even on the off weeks where I am in the black a take great pleasure in not giving the government my "fair share" of the sinners tax, which far exceeds the tobacco companies profits but at least they create jobs. I like not giving them the money too though. I have spent nowhere near what I see others doing. I did about 250 to 300 a month on the smokes.

A few more shinny's and I will stop, I swear it! I then will just buy one real nice shiney twice a year as a reward. Love me a reward :)

I'm getting pretty close to a break-even point with my vaping expenditures v. what would have been my cigarette expenditures. I needed to wobble through some different things to get where I am. I have pretty much everything I *NEED* now. I have a few small wants, but nothing I can't live without for now.

Once I figure out what I'm not longer going to use, I'll PIF Already have a couple of things in mind - just need someone who will want to try the stuff.

So, jdeedler - GOOD JOB!!!!!

No question (like many) I've spent more on vaping equipment and supplies than I would have on cigarettes but I expect to soon reach the break even mark and start making gains but I understand that some drugs used in the treatment of cancer can run into $40,000/year. If I came to you on the day you were on your death bed (the day you were dying) and could offer to extend your life by another 10 or 20 years, what would you be willing to pay for that? Even one more year (on that day you were dying) what would that be worth to you? Food for thought.
