WOW! Didn't realize it was that much!!!

Still going to buy more of Cash's liquid... Love the riskee juice and their coffee...

Wasted money on Johnson's creek sampler, the chocolate (can't remember the brand and don't feel like getting up to look) and the original starter set...

However, I don't regret it at all!!! I am so happy to be able to say I don't smoke and I can smell things again and I just FEEL better....

Anyone else care to break it down?

Great thread BTW...

Rita

PS... Damn, and I was thinking about getting the pilot... now, not so sure :(

My lord, I just added everything up from my paypal acct since that's all i've used to pay for this lil hobby. My 1st purchase was made 11/07/2008 and since then it's added up too $1,061. That's bout $250 a month!!! I better change my ways or something cause that is just too much. On analogs I was spending $60 a month on 3 cartons(ordering overseas). Wow this thread has been a reality check for me, I best be slowing down for sure....

It's easy to get carried away and spend a buttload on these things so far ive spent:

1 classic penstyle from puresmoker- $50
1 pilot with extra atomizers and carts- $100
1 Dura and bunch of carts- $150
Wicked e juice- $35
Cash liquid-$100
Kick juice- $30
Johnson liquid- $25

And just purchased an extra 4 Duras, one for backup and some for friends.

Total thus far: $700 not including shipping cost

Its going to take me awhile to break even, as i only smoked half a pack/day

My wife as banned me from ordering anymore, lol, she thinks im getting a little OCD with it....but damn these ecigs are so addicting!

but my total is somewhere in the $300 - $350 range right now i think

901 ultimate starter kit $88
Smoke51 starter kit $80 - ebay
Smoke 51 replacement battery $35
something like 5 bottles of juice from puresmoker , that's at least $50 not including shipping
4 packs of Smoke51 carts $77 (pricey and at least 2 carts in every pack were duds)
Leather case $8
2 boxes of Janty Dura carts $25

i think that's it for now

it's only been a month , and i'm certainly not saving any money by vaping , but i feel better about it , money well spent

I started vaping a little over a month ago (Jan 14th). I've spent roughly $155 dollars and just broke even a few days ago.

I started with a DSE901 starter kit with 1 extra battery and 1 extra atomizer (no failures). I also purchased 3 30ml bottles of juice and a usb passthrough. I still have enough juice left to last me a little over a month.

I'm quite happy with the 901 but have been eyeing some other models I might like to try out. And I may just do that since I'm "in the black". :)

I've spent a little over 300. I don't think that's so bad though for two people.

It has totally been worth it. My husband smoked for over 20 years and I had been smoking for 10. My step-sons keep telling us how proud they are. It's impossible for me to regret the financial issues of e-cig start up when your 13 year old goes out of his way to tell you something like that.

one thing to keep in mind is that the money we spend goes to further the research and development of the ecig. so even though i seems like some of us are spending a lot hopefully this will prove that there is a good market for the ecig and help to improve on the technology. i am content with the performance of my EVO(my first ecig which i just received 30 min ago), but i can't wait to see what is in store for the future of vaping.

I started e-smoking on Feb. 2. So far my purchases have totalled $485 for the month. If I look back to January I spent $120 on cigs for the month and another $320 on doctors visit, meds, and missed wages due to coming down with Bronchitis due to analog cigs. I'm not to much farther in the hole in my opinion.

epuffer penstyle starter kit w/ shipping: $101
janty e-liquid and penstyle case w/ shipping and paypal fees: $22.90
2 one oz Lorann flavors w/ shipping: $19.50
puresmoker, free shipping (1 penstyle starter kit, 1 901 starter kit, extra atomizers, carts, eliquid) $143.73
= $287.13

so far, waaaay over my analog monthly budget.

Good to know I'm not the only one who went overboard...

The good news is that unless I decide to try out the Pilot (and then buy all the accessories for that one), I'm set on pretty much everything for at least a month, if not more.

Bought all the juice I need from Totally Wicked (60 mil) for a while anyway... Will prolly buy some more riskee juice though, just cause I do like it.

I'm in for $525 at this point. If I just order more juice for the year and stop at $800, I'll still save $400 off my real cig bill. But about $200 of this was just wasted buying cheap products that just didn't work well and juice that taste like poo. Plus I still haven't got my Janty Dura-C pre-order, maybe it will work ok.
