I think I have a real problem buying stuff. I have spent $1697.00 since April 9, 2009. I have 5 Nipro and 7-510 with numerous accessories and alot of e-liquid. I think I am going to stop buying for a while.

Sounds like you are ready for the apocalypse :D

I bought my 510 and 120ml of juice.

I will have a pretty good stock now:

401 with 5 batts, 4 attys and 20+ carts
901 with 3 batts , 3 attys and 10 carts
510 2+2 deal from HG'S (on the way)
Abt 200ml various liquids with 118ml of VG, and 120ml (4X30) coming from HG's.

I should be set for a a few months :hubba: , although I do feel like.. you know, the need to hoard a bit more.

More liquid, more hardware:p... want more!!!

I've only been vaping ummm... 12 days and I have spent about $400. I ordered a crap ecig to begin with that cost $144 and only has pre-filled carts that are pricey so that was my mistake... it was before I found this board. Then I ordered my 510, carts, juice, a PCC and other goodies. I realize vaping may run me the same as my analogs but I'm ok with that as long as I keep feeling better and not smoking tobacco!!

I consider the startup costs experimental, now I know exactly what I want LOL

Vaping since April 09:

1-NJOY NCIG
1-NJOY NPRO
2-Smoke-51
2-DSE801
7-extra 801 atomizers
4-extra 801 batteries
1-801 USB Passthrough
2-JOYE510
1-510 PCC
1-PS USBpass for 510

120 ml juice from various places
20 blank 801 cartridges
20 blank 510 cartridges

6 tins of snus (thanks to Tropical Bob turning me on to this great product!)

Won't do the price breakdown but it totals around $1400

However, so far I have saved over $600 in cigarettes, so in a few months I will break even.

I just can't get over how much some have spent. It amazes me. Some of you will be in the red, theoretically speaking, for years!

But we're taking a gamble here (speaking as someone in the $1500 range in less than 2 months) that that living longer is worth the expense. :)

So my account may be in the red, but my lungs are in the pink instead of the grey. :D

I`ll cross the red line in about 1.5 month... since I`ve spent 600$ for 2 persons, together we`ve saved 400$ from NOT buying analogs, so in 4-6 weeks we`ll cross it!

And that`s not concidering the health factor....

Plus we dont need anything else for now. I hope it stays that way and no more COOL NEW SHINY e-cigs would come out on the market:cool:

The most that I`ll spend on will be parts for a home built mod...which wouldnt be that expensive..

I definitely hear you about your health being worth it. I guess I just have been approaching it from a different perspective. I wanted to take it slow and make sure it was the real deal before committing any large sums of money. And even still I don't know that I'll be bit by the vape-bug and wind up with 8-10 different units. I'll probably have only 2 or 3 at max that each have their very specific uses and stick with those.

Of course I'm sure others have said something similar and wound up in that top category. It looks like there should have been more choices. Haha!

...Of course that was before I found this forum. Now, after much learning, I gotten to where I want to be....

This is so true for many of us here. This forum has been a valuable resource for me, and I am sure for many. Thanks for SJ and all of the contributors to these forum threads.

I am also where I want to be.

I just ran my total. $1,306.09. I really had no idea I had spent so much. What the hell did I buy? Been vaping since Jan, but stopped the analogs May 7. I guess for six months worth of vaping that is not so bad. Thats just over $200 per month. I also included the cost of e-cigs that I bought for my daughter and sister-in-law.

I've only been vaping a month, but I've spent about $350 on the equipment and nic juice. Granted there is a steeper initial cost for equipment than say analogs i.e. ashtray, lighters and air freshners  But the benefits I think will be prolonged health, less doctors visits for smoker related issues such as lingering coughs, colds, and future with COPD, and prescription inhalers to treat breathing problems.

I've spent close to $700 during these 35 days of vaping, but I'm rather like Rambling Rose, in that I've prepared in case of a ban...only she's further advanced in the preps than I am. From all that I ordered I have left:

149 filled carts
315ml of juice
13 batteries
13 attys
1 carrying case
1 PCC
2 auto chargers
4 wall and usb charging units

I spent approximately $300 a month on analogs, so I'll break even in a about 2 months and 1 week...yet I have enough of what I need for at least 5-6 months.

The way I smell now, wearing my White Linen perfume......PRICELESS! I used to spray away for nothing, because the smoke smell always rose above the perfume aroma.

The ashless keyboard and desk I'm sitting at now, also PRICELESS!

Improving health...PRICELESS!

Getting my grandkids off of my back and not being a social leper...BEYOND PRICELESS!!!
