How quick did you drop the nic?

I believe you are talking about 10% nic, which is 100mg/ml. 100% nic is....lets just say only to be handled in a lab environment with proper safety gear. I personally won't handle to 10% stuff without gloves and proper ventilation.

What ever you want to call it. I made the mistake of getting some on my bare skin, one time. From that day on I always wear gloves when I handle it. Was sick as a dog from the skin absorbtion.

I've thought of that, but I'm already saving quite a bit already. So I'm not worried about the cost. My savings column on my spreadsheet just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I'm down to buying liquids every other month and replacement stuff about every 4-5 months or more. I'm truly just on cruise control now.

When I hit my "One Year" I quit the spreadsheet because I knew I would be so far in the red it would depress me!!! At one year I went all out and celebrated - did I need anything (well of course not!) but in celebratory fashion I kinda went over-board .

As far as nic levels, I started at 18mg and am now down to 6mg, it wasn't a "I'm gonna reduce my nic" type, it was more like AngiBe stated when my body was telling me it was time. If I do go to 0mg - great, but it isn't something I am telling myself I need to do - and I definitely will not stop vaping. I enjoy it and it satisfies the "hand to mouth" that I have grown accustomed to over the last 40+ years.

I did invest a lot in DIY and the supplies needed, but I also supply my daughter who has just recently attained "one year" stinky free, so for us it made sense, and I love the mixing and coming up with different flavor combinations. Since I am retired, it gives me something to do during the day ;)

After reading, incredible. I had no idea.
I guess after being told it was bad for long, I just assumed.

The ANTZ propaganda is sometimes hard to get through. When I started this journey I assumed nicotine was a natural poison plants created to prevent predation. While this is true, I had no idea that it could actually be medically beneficial. Who knew? ;)

I started out with 18MG after smoking parliament lights for years. After about 2 months I switched from the Vivi Novas and Kangers over to an RBA. After the first couple of hits I had to switch to 12MG because the RBA had such better delivery. Now about 6 months later, I'm starting to wish that more vendors sold a nic in the range of 9MG, sometimes 12MG is a bit much and gives me a head rush.

High on Vaping
I have been vaping for a year.
Started off on 18mh nic
Then went down to 12mg after around 4 months
Then a few months back I went down to 6mg nic
My next step and most probably next order of juice will be 0 mg of nic

I love vaping, but I hate being dependent on anything, so going to crush this nic dependency once and for all!!!!

Varied from 16-24 mg on disposables, occasional use for a year, until I got my Halo Triton, using 18 mg in mid-September. Cut my mix to 12 mg after a week of using new Tumbler tanks and feeling jittery on 18 with them.

My Triton tanks are 3 ohm coils. The Tumblers have 2.4 and 2 ohm coils. I wanted to test my vaping on various coils to check out my reaction on 12 mg nicotine to see if I would want to go back up to 18 mg again. So far I'm feeling satisfied with 12 mg and don't feel like I've increased my vaping time because of mg depletion. Definitely not feeling jittery or my heart racing.

However, I've been at 12 mg almost two weeks, I might try 9 mg and see if I can take it. Honestly, I'm just amazed that I've stayed off the analogs this long without going back to the dark side. Weeeeeeeeee!

Buy a bottle of 12 mg and a bottle of 6 mg of the same flavor and mix them together evenly = 9 mg :)

Well I thank you for the enlightenment! I would prefer a little bit or nicotine in my vapor, for its also stress relieving properties!

I bought juices in both 18mg and 12mg right off the bat.

I like the 18mg for first thing in the morning, after meals, and/or any time I only have time for a couple quick puffs before putting the ecig away for a couple hours.

I can and have vaped nothing but 12mg all day and been completely satisfied, though.

The past couple weeks, I've noticed that I can go an entire day and only vape a few ml of juice, (1 Evod). It's surprised me how quickly I've been able to cut back, without any conscious effort.

I used to smoke about a PAD of Camel lights, fwiw. Ymmv.

Another thing you could try, contact your vendor and ask if they can mix the 9mg. My vendor, I just type in the notes field what mg I require. But I knew beforehand that I could do this with them. I had asked on their vendor thread here on ECF. or do what Myranny said. 12 and 6mg (equal parts) ends up at 9mg.

I must be one of the few who need throat hit for this to continue working. That's why I'm still at 2.4. If it doesn't have throat it, it doesn't satisfy me. This, of course, is purely me.

Funny thing, back when I smoked, especially when I was drinking, I would get angry at my smokes because I couldn't "feel" it going in. I would hotbox it in frustration just to get some kind of throat hit. What I get from vaping now blows the old real cig throat hit out of the water, and truly satisfies me.

I don't see myself dropping my nic level any time soon. I tried to drop to 1.8 but I could tell the difference. Some people may be like, "How?" and all I can tell them is, "I can tell". I know my own body.

If you want to be completely, 100% nic free, I totally understand the desire to drop. But at this point, I'm a "Starbucks" vaper. I like my nicotine like Starbucks fiends love their flippy mocha cha cha latte whatever foo foos -- they love their caffeine. I see people who still crave 2.4 as no different than people who MUST. HAVES. STARBUCKS. FLIPPOCHINNO SOY GRANDE LATTE.
