We don't recommend alcohol, or any other chemical products, it will kill your atomizer. We recommend blowing through the atomizer and dripping a few drops of liquid after this simple but effective cleaning method. The dripping is to soak the atomizer.
Dry atomizers smoking will overheat and burn the filament inside, resulting in a burned taste and eventually defective filament. Dry smoking is tricky and can result in defects if you dry smoke too long. Always check your atomizer for overheating when doing this!
If you use different sorts of liquids with the same atomizer, especially bad quality liquids, the only thing you can do is rinse the atomizer with water and blow through the atomizer and repeat this like 20 times. Then dry blow with a hairdryer, drip a few fresh drops of good liquid, then about 5 puffs and you should be good to go again.
Keeping you atomizer vertically at night when the cartridge is half full or horizontally if the cartridge is still full is also a good trick.
Over dripped atomizers should be kept vertically without cartridge, on a tissue paper or on the dry rack overnight.
None of these methods is guaranteed all the time of course.

Ludo has brought up a very valid point for us all to take into account after we complete whatever cleaning we choose to use.
That is cleaning will remove any juice that is in the fabric fibres in the centre core of the atomizer filament. It's important to keep those fibres moist at all times. They are the cause of most of the burnt tastes people are getting from their e-misters.
Here's what I do ... After cleaning and careful drying I let it rest for most of a day, usually overnight. Then I drip 3-4 drops into it and put on a fresh cartridge. The atomizer is then left for 15-30 minutes minimum before I use it again.

We sure do kit, but anyone that hasn't read all the previous posts on cleaning before may not be aware of it, which is why I thought it was a good idea to make the post again.
Been chatting to smokester and his matte white atomizers he has been selling are the same as the old ones but without the fancy writing on.
He has sold over 200 allready and only had one return

Well been hammering smokester new atomizers.the matte white ones with no gold writing on.The verdict up to now is very good,far better than the old ones,
there seems to be alot more thicker vapour than the old,allso it doesn't seem to warm up as quick as the old one either.
Well its only the first day so anything can happen lol
but its looking promising who knows i might get longer than a few weeks

I just tried cleaning my atomizer with a 50/50 solution of distilled white vinegar and water.
Flushed with warm water several times and it seemed to work nearly like new with no off taste.

I'm going to try the white vinegar in my u-sonic bath. Damn thing's been crap with e-cigs so far. To be fair I haven't tried heat or an acidic solution. I'll update how I get on.

the distilled white vinegar/ water mix has been working good for me too. And with a good warm water rinse and thorough drying, all have worked well.
as i do this in a small white cup, I actually SEE the little bits and flecks that are washed out, (I push some of the vinegar water through from the battery end with syringe) and it's amazing how many little black flecks wash out. very tiny, but enough that I see them.
I did have one atomizer, the Crown 7, where the paint/enamel/whatever started coming off on the inside, but once it all washed out, now it is vaping fine again.
I am doing this every few days on the ones I use the most and they seem to smoke so much better afterwards. Rinse well though. And dry well, especially the battery end.
The only one I have not washed is the NJoy and I think it's just dead, even brand new I did not feel it was very good one, so I think I need a replacement or just return the whole thing for a refund. My daughter got one too, and her's is not working well. I have much better ones now.
