Now it cures, the silicone is used in machines for plastic surgery so I guess its ok lol we will see I need my line man been without it for too long

Julio you did an excellent job as always my friend. it sure looks sexy. and looks great on the Don also lolol.
question for anyone./ when i took my line apart the tubing got kinda screwed up. where can i get tubing this size in a color maybe green red blue yellow even clear. i mesured it and looks like 20 mm but my eyes are getting worse. anyone get an accurate reading please? Taking apart this line i really like it.the size is perfect for me.

This is a great thread ...

In my opinion the kanthal connection to the thread is the weakest feature of the line. Sure it is the simplest, but I see the contact on the low post compromised to often ...

The idea with the body as ground and a fix lower post mechanism is great. Wish I had the skills and means to perform such a mod ...

I used to think the same, but when I learned to bend the silver wire and eliminate the run to the posts I am convinced it is the best connection for a coil.

It can be fixed. Getting the broken connector out may be a problem though. Pop the top, pull the plexi and your insulator out. Then figure out if you can get the pressed 510 connection out from the other side. That last part will be the challenge, and may require tools you just don't have. I can't offer someone else's services, so I would PM a few select people that you know can fix it and ask for help. 3 people come to mind right off. Also, you could contact Del and ask for help.
