Hey guys i was wondering what is the recommended way to get the most flavor out of your eliquid. Any difference between usuing cartos, drip tips, and/or atomizers? Does one particular one give off more flavor than another. I noticed when i filled a brand new cartomizer up with about 25 drops i got a great flavor, but upon refills i am adding another 8-10 drops and i just dont get that same flavor anymore. Its like im vaping air with a slight hint of flavor. Am i doing something wrong? Is this just how cartomizers are? I know its not the liquid becuase on the initial fill the flavor is great. any help is appreciated.

Dripping is definitely the best method. Pure liquid hitting your atomizer. No cotton or foam getting in the way. Also a stronger power output and a hotter atomizer usually bring the favors to life, either through a low resistance atomizer on a standard voltage product, or moving up to a higher voltage unit.

I'm using an Inferno (standard 3.7v) with a very low resistance 306 atomizer and drip tip, amazing flavor. I went back to a cartomizer last night and it was "welcome back to bland-ville".

Hey well i use cartomizers and they seem to give me more flavor out of juice compare to cartriges. The other thing people say dripping. So its a matter of preference. I think you should try all of the methods.

Good luck on your adventure.:):vapor:

P.S more experienced ppl willl tell you more info.

Different flavors can react differently too to dripping or carts/attys or cartomizers. Different brands of cartomizers can give different results. Most people will prefer a particular brand over another brand. Some people love cartos. Some don't like cartos at all and others like me find them most convenient for some situations (when driving or out and about where refilling my carts isn't convenient) but wouldn't use them all the time. It really comes down to trying different things for yourself and seeing what works best for you. It doesn't sound like you've done anything wrong with your cartos its just way they are acting.

Dripping has really brought out the flavors in my juices. I even made a drip tip for my XHale02. I use it to test new juices. There is also an issue of steeping freshly made juices. I have had several flavors really change with age. Rather than go into details and repeat what others have done in regards to steeping, move over to the general e-liquid section and search for steeping. You will be pleasantly amazed at what a little age can do to a so-so juice.

From what I've tried so far, assuming you start with a good tasting ejuice, which is probably not the Chinese 100% PG stuff. The US mixers make more interesting and complex flavors.

IMO Order of flavor experience, from best down

dripping - downside is trying to switch flavors! Sorta hard to get the last taste out
cartos (i.e cartomizers, the combined atty+cart of a 2-piece model)
carts (i.e. cartridges, the non-electronic juice cartridge that attached to the atty of a 3-piece model)

With carts I actually think there is a wide range of flavor quality. You need a good-wicking cart/atty combo and a PV that atomizes well but doesn't burn the crap out of the juice. Like I think 510 atty seems to be not as good at preserving flavor vs DSE901 atty

Also important - CLEANING. If you keep using the same atty, the same carto, the same cart without cleaning, it will start to taste bad. I swap to a clean atty every weekend (and start soaking the used one in alcohol) and heavy vapers may swap more often. Cartos have limited reuses - I've heard maybe 6-7 refills though sometime they can be renovated for more through thorough cleaning? Carts - I switch mine to blue foam filling so it's easier to clean old carts and filling or make new filling.

I was dripping for the first time yesterday - KR808D-1 battery w/ fresh cleaned & dry DSE901 atty and drip tip. I swear even flavorless PG tasted good. But dripping is somewhat inconvenient. It's OK if you are sitting around at home, not even really doable if you are driving a vehicle and might even be hard riding in a vehicle. Some people really like the convenience of cartos. I didn't care for the one kind I tried though it did have a lot of vapor. The draw seemed loose and hot to me but I still have to try Boge cartos. So far I prefer the drag of a cartridge + atty but I have time to screw with it frequently during the day at my desk or at home. There are fans of all three methods. I use a mini and super-mini cart+atty PV every day, but I also have a carto PV I bought to try (KR808D-1) and a DSE901 atty for it w/ drip tip. I felt I have to try them all to find what I like.

Hi new member here. Wanted to say that I bought the e cig in castlecourt, found it good at the start but bit pricey and the double mint a bit rough on the throat. I've found a site selling e liquid at a great price and pretty good flavour. I also switched from the imitation cig to the tank and found the vapour alot better since then. Haven't smoked a real cig in a long time now. Feel better for it. Anyone any suggestions on the best e tanks out there??? Anyone tried the newest one? the one at 70 pound. For the cheap e liquid

Try switching flavors offen. As with food and drinks, you only get the real flavor the first couple of hits and it is only when you change that the new flavor can be tasted. The nose and mouth get use to different thing very fast and get reset when something new is used.

I agree with this. I normally vape 3 or 4 different juice flavors in one day.

I am also a new vaper and I have to say this thread has opened my eyes and spun my gray matter. So much to learn.

Dormouse, what kind of alcohol do you use for cleaning? Also, you speak of using blue foam for refilling your carts. What kind of foam and does the cart work as well as before? Questioning minds want to know. Oh, BTW, your post above is really clear and understandable to me. Sometimes it seems like everyone is posting in Greek but I only understand Polish. Thanks for the translation.
