I avg.18 ml's a day mostly dtl, some mtl. When I vaped 6mg of nic, I still vaped the same amount. Now vaping 1.5 mg nic so nothing changed. My juice is diy so the cost isn't too bad.
To be honest at my age(73), I'm not too concerned. For me it's a matter of not smoking 2 ppd, like I did for 50+ years.

I diy too, so I’ve never been too concerned about how many mls I vape. I goofed around a while trying to find my sweet spot, feeling satisfied but not nic sick while vaping as much as I wanted/needed.

The vapers I know IRL often think they’re vaping too much. One uses about 4 mls a day of 6 mg. I think they just want to know what the normal range is, really. When you’re the only vaper in your area, it might seem like you’re vaping a lot.

I've vaped about 8ml a day for years in a Kayfun Lite (4ml MTL tank). MTL is definitely the secret to vaping less juice and enjoying it more. Flavor is great, but you have to use 60pg/40vg in the Kayfun to prevent dry hits. Some of the low profile MTL tanks produce even more flavor in MTL mode. The 2019 Kayfun Lite is a good 24mm tank with great flavor.

The real cure for vaping too much is laying it down and walking off. Go back when the nic urge hits, but don't keep it in your hand or your pocket.

Using 75 watts and aegis mod with zeus coil
With that setup and that wattage, you'll always consume the same amount of liquids unless you either up the nic, vape less or both.

Imo if you really want to cut back, stop using a big setup and go back to a mtl setup which barely uses any liquid.

Hey guys so I need help, I saw a post that some people vape around 2-4 ml a day but I definitely go through like 20-25ml a day, I pretty much just vape all day at 3 nic especially when home at computer I'll just sit there n vape away, how can I reduce using so much juice in a day? Obv the answer is dont vape so much but like how can I do that, maybe up the nic?

If you can't cut down, which you say you can't, the alternative isn't going to make any significant difference anyway. You'll just be vaping less Vegetable Glycerine and Propylene Glycol. So if blowing big clouds is what you enjoy, then vape on !. I can't see the problem.

If you were low ohm'ing say 24mg's,..... then that would be a problem !.

My gut feeling on the volume of liquid / amount of nicotine has always been to inhale as little liquid vapour as possible while getting enough nicotine to satisfy.
It stands to reason that the more product you suck into your lungs, the more work they have to do to metabilse the VG/PG. Apart from excess phlegm or a wheezing / tight chest you wont know how hard your lungs/body has to work.... Whereas if you vape too much nicotine your body will let you know pretty quickly and you'll stop.
Less liquid with higher nicotine seems to be a no-brainer.

The best way to reduce the amount of juice that you vape per day is to get a smaller device. I have a couple large devices that I use at home, that consume enormous amounts of juice. These days I rarely use them because I was going through gallons of juice a day. Actually it wasn't gallons, but it would be about a third of a 60ml bottle. eventually I got a Smok nord. That helped reduce my consumption a bit, but not enough. These days I just use a MyBlu from Blu ecigs. Now before you think that they are way to expensive to vape on a daily basis, it's not. Granted in my wonderful state of Kalifornia, it does cost around 15 bucks for two pods. But the batteries are only a buck and the pods can be refilled five or six times with whatever juice you like. So the price is not really that bad. But the best thing is that my juice consumption has gone way down. Wayyyyyyyyyy down. The flavor production is really good and the amount of vapor is more than enough to satisfy me. And the other benefit is that I don't have to clean my windows in the car as much. So it's a win, win.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sounds to me like you have more of a hand-to-mouth addiction and a cloud-chucking addictions than a nicotine addiction.

If that's the case, no amount of nic increase will make you reduce your eliquid consumption mos likely (maybe a tiny bit).

You have to break the habit of wanting to chuck clouds first and foremost. This will allow you to reduce your wattage. So even if you vape constantly, you'll waste less juice.

Then, of course, you can further reduce that by not vaping constantly.

These are both hard habits to break. But when there's true will, there is a way.

I chain vape that amount maybe more in one day. I have no problem with it although I’m going to down my DIY ejuice from 3 mgs to 2 mgs. I don’t need that much nicotine and I won’t notice the difference anyway.
