Did we have to use a last name in order to be elig to win? I think I only used my first name :cry:

It seems quite a lot of people did the same, don't worry you're still eligible. We were going to announce them all via first name and the first three letters of their surnames but since a lot of winners entered no name, or just a first name we are going to announce the ones that didn't provide us their full name like this: XXX@.com. With XXX being the first three letters of their email address.

We are redacting full names, and full email addresses to ensure the winners privacy and protect them from identity theft.

Unfortunately given the situation, this seems to be the only way to announce said entrants.

The giveaway was open to all contestants.
Asked and answered - Thank you Ash!

Lets see 1 n 500,000/400 x likes = :confused:
:lol::lol::lol:

* It is all in good fun, I promise. I have little I can do ATM. Starting to look like we need a special support thread for some of us...........but I think I'd barely qualify for that one.

I hope everyone here realizes - We are already winners. On one front, we have made a better choice.

@bwh79 . . .

First - Really could not like "Your" original post, however I can and do "Like" +1000 reading this one . . .

It's called keeping a positive attitude. I'll either get better, or I won't, and there's no sense in crying over spilled milk, or dwelling on things that one cannot control.

IMO - No truer words are ever spoken, especially when one is dealing with Life Issues . . .

AND - On that note, for "You" and all the other brave and courageous souls who have spoken out to share their stories . . .
THANK YOU - For bringing 'Us" all back to reality and what is important . . .

Also from "Me" to each of "You" . . .

"GOOD VIBES" & "HEALING THOUGHTS"

. . . Are Being Sent Your Way

So, the results are in, and they're not good. I don't get to go home tomorrow, or even next week. Maybe in a month, if I'm healthy enough after the chemotherapy. I have bone-marrow cancer, something called acute myelogenous leukemia or AML. It is curable, they say, but the treatment itself is pretty rough and its only 40% effective. If that doesn't work, I'm looking at blood transfusions and bone marrow transplants. And if they can't cure it, they say I've only got a year, maybe two left. Jeebus, I'm only 36 years old! I'm not ready for this...
I can't like your post. I CAN like the fact that people from all over the world are holding you in their thoughts and sending love, prayers, good vibes...whatever they believe in....to you. For now, FIGHT. Remove anything or anyone negative in your life, you don't need it or them. Be proactive in your care, learn as much as you can, and FIGHT...every day!

Morning all. My prayers are with all those that are having life toss them some really rotten crap. I myself had to give myself injections in addition to some other nasty oral meds for 9 long months.
Gawd, I was so sick. Lost most of my hair etc etc. Couldn't hardly eat without ( well, you know ) But I beat it, and as of my last checkup a few months ago I am still clean :) Miracles happen.

I agree with what others have said about a positive attitude. Looks like you have one too @bwh79 ( way to go ) Lots of us here that you can lean on for those difficult moments that will come in future. Use US! :) Seriously, I mean that. Just having someone to chat with at times even if they had not gone it through it themselves, was a true blessing for me.

I know how anxious people are in knowing who Won . . . But - If I may make a suggestion here, as "You" have mentioned, given the real NEED for personal security and/or privacy on an open forum such as ECF, would it not be better and a little more secure to wait until people respond to their emails to provide - what if any - of their personal information they want released, especially before posting who the Winners are ? ? ? Whether or not we wish to admit it, there are some very savvy and unscrupulous people that view this forum that have the technical knowledge or skills who would still be able to decipher theses with only 3 letters/number/symbols being blocked out with XXX . . . Again - Just a thought and suggestion . . . ;)

Just buy one if you don't win.
They aren't expensive, and that way it's an unbiased opinion.
I will if I don't win one, but my military disability check only stretches so far. So I am limited as to what toys I can buy, and when. Never hurts to get it for free, though...and I like my blogging/reviewing enough that I set up my own website to try and help other vapers know where their money is best spent.

Some times I wish someone would steal my Identity and life.

It would serve them right :thumbs:

Sorry to hear about your troubles @bwh79
My "father" (it's complicated) was diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma at stage 4. It was rough watching him go through that. He only made it 6 months after diagnosis.
If caught early enough, outlook plays a big role in recovery...if you truly believe you can beat it, you have a much better chance of doing so. Keep your head up, we are pulling for you
