So you can see from this photo the top of the new polycarbonate tank. Notice the poly riser for the one post. I had a hard time getting good vapor production. It was because the air hole sat so low, basically level with the middle of that riser. If the hole was higher so it would be level with the middle of the coil, it would be perfect, however it is not.

So I ground down the riser with a dremel so I could expose the complete wick on one side, then lowered my coil starting point. Vapor production is much better now.

Also note, no threading. The cap stays on pretty darn good though. On the Zenesis, you have to watch it cause the top will pop off pretty easy (though if I have a clean top and dry o-ring, it stays on pretty darn good).

I love the ring switch. Frigging genius!!! Way to think out of the box on that one.

I am not sure what their supply issues revolve around, however I do know it is a single builder doing it in his spare time. I do not believe he is contracting out any of the work (maybe the tank though), so that also slows things down. Patience is best practice I guess, but for the price it is worth it IMO. ETA: Come to find out they have over 400 emails!!!??? So patience.

It vapes very well. I really like the NGP, and have other genisis hybrids and atomizers to compare it to, what I find interesting is I keep going to this one and I have an Orion and a GGTS/ZAP on my desk right now... not because of the flavor (each has a different flavor in the tank), but more because of the switch. The NGP is so light, I can grab the ring between my index and thumb, put the drip tip in my mouth, and slide the ring towards me. Vape. It's so simple, and it almost mimics holding a cigar.

I would REALLY like to see one of these done in a 14500 size!!!

Notice the black plug for the extra NGP battery tube... It keeps you from losing the switch ring and will hold a battery :)

I wasn't here for a very long time, and I was told to check out your amazing collection.
That's amazing! Congrats! :)

Just a quick note on the black plug. It was designed originally to put it in a drill and than you can easily polish the aluminium tank using some car vax and a cloth. :)

One guy building them in his spare time (second job), none of the work is contracted out. This is why it can take some time.

+1 on the 14500!!!!

There's a new touch switch version is coming soon:

Dunno if that's a good idea, I have the old touch switch version with a single switch. When carrying my NGP mini, it's already difficult to avoid pressing the button accidentally. It could work for the standard though...

Carrying was fine for me with the old version. I just loosen the battery sleeve a bit, and than it didn't switch accidentally.
However the biggest issue for me is that I had to lick my fingers all the time. :p

I just don't like the idea of loosening a mod thread, it just makes me feel like it's not 'solid' while walking around...I know, I AM a bit OCD :D

Hey Charlie! Good to see you over here :) Thanks for looking and the compliment!

That tidbit of information is awesome and will come in handy!!! Thank you for passing that on :)

Also the picture of the new touch version looks great. I am a fan of touch switches (I had 2 Precious mods). But for reliability and ease of repair, I prefer this ring switch. The ring is easily replaceable with ... wait for it... a ring!!! In the right size. Plus it is so simple and brilliant!

I visited the NGP thread over at the Hungarian forums, but couldn't figure out how to register, and google translate was not helping me much. I just wanted to thank them over there :)

Anyway you put it, I am now an NGP fan!

chaos coil? any links on that?

i know the chaos coil from the german forums (ERF, damfpertreff). have tried it and it works: you just wrap the canthal wire (0,2) around the ss-wick 5 times (maybe 6 or 7 to start with) and do not care about whether they touch or cross - you could even do it with your eyes closed... then mount it like any other coil and try with low voltage...

tell me if you want a link...
