Pufzeppelin reported earlier in this thread that they had to evacuate but only had light damage. I would guess A or B.
Willow water has never failed me with cuttings, much better than those pricey rooting hormone powders. (I have had a couple of cuttings fail, but it was because I let them dry out.)
Make your own willow water:
Gather about two cups of pencil-thin willow branches cut to 1-3 inch lengths. Steep twigs in a half-gallon of boiling water overnight. Refrigerated liquid kept in a jar with a tight-fitting lid will remain effective up to two months. (Label jar so you won’t confuse it with your homemade moonshine.) Overnight, soak cuttings you wish to root. Or water soil into which you have planted your cuttings with the willow water. Two applications should be sufficient. Some cuttings root directly in a jar of willow water. Make a fresh batch for each use. You can also use lukewarm water and let twigs soak for 24-48 hours.

I talked to @JCinFLA the other day after the storm. She says she doesn’t have power, that’s why she hasn’t checked in. She has some damage but not too bad. Just waiting on power to be restored. I’m planning on giving her a call today to see when she is expecting power. She lives in Winter Haven close to Bartow and that area got hit pretty hard.
I keep telling her she needs to get a smartphone and get off dial up speed internet and move herself into the 21st century but she is fighting it hard..lol.

Surprisingly, my sat tv and sat Internet connections never went down.
Lake Wales has been without pwr, food, and gas although I understand it's getting better every day. Have enough food and gas to last until Monday. Hopefully some of the hysteria will have died down by them.

@Kenna, you use small, flexible willow stems, pencil-sized or smaller, strip the leaves, cut them into 1-3 inch lengths, about 2 cups of them. Boil 2 quarts of water and pour over them; leave them in the water the equivalent of overnight (8-10 hours, doesn't have to be at night). Or you can use lukewarm water and soak them a day or two. Take out the cuttings, throw them away. Save the water in a container and label; refrigerate. It will be good for two months. Use the water for your cuttings a couple of times. The willow hormones in the water will stimulate root growth on the cuttings.
If you don't need 1/2 gallon, you can use 1 cup of stems to 1 quart of water.

Well got power back Thursday, but still no tv or internet. Found out yesterday my business phone had been out all week, no wonder I was not getting any calls. It did come back up late last night, but no telling how many calls were missed last week withat it not working. Internet on my phone is up and down, mostly down, which is why you are not seeing much of me on here. I think the cell towers are overloaded due to all othe internet options being down. I'll post more once I get a stable internet conection. Everyone stay safe.
