I want reports on the mtl claptons I've never tried anything other than a 28ga n80 twisted wire (in my mix tasting rda).

I'm really interested in how they would affect the flavour in the project x - it's so damn good with just plain single wire, that my taste buds would probably explode if it was much better

She is an absolute sweety and has come so far. After 1 week of being shy and timid, she started sitting on my chair arm and let me pet her. After 2 weeks, she had completely trusted me - slept on either my lap, or chest, purred 90% of the time, talked 10%, and has become the smoochiest cat I've ever had

I’ll update you in 3-5 days as to how/if the recipe changes. But as a SnV it’s delish. It’s perfect for the season as it’s hot & I do love my custards & bakeries, but don’t feel like vaping those all day. This is a perfect blend of refreshing Green Apple with a touch of bakery at the end. At the same time not overbearingly sweet.

Glad you ordered the flavors to mix this. Yes HS Cream is a great flavor. @wllmc has a Juicy Strawberry Cheesecake recipe that uses HS Cream in it & has been my nightly vape for as long as he has posted the recipe.

Usually I vape @ around 30-32 watts. But haven’t vaped 17 watts in a long time. Only recently I bought a used Provari which lead me to a Dvarw Mtl & SJMY Doggy with lower watts. But on my regular mods I haven’t gone that low.

I am usually MTL but recently I have been really getting into RDL (even some DL).

Is Wllmc's Juicy Strawberry Cheesecake recipe at VU too? I'll search for it but if you have it please share.

I don't care for real sweet juices either.

You like custards... ok here is one of my recipes...

FA Vanilla Classic/Madagascar 3.5%
FA Vienna Cream 1%
FA Custard Premium 1%
INW Shisha Vanilla 0.9%
FLV Cream 0.3% or 4 drops

You can sub CAP Vanilla Custard v1 if you don't have FA Custard Premium. I really like FA Custard Premium and it has become my new favorite custard although I still love CAP v1. You can't get FA Custard Premium in the USA. ChefsFlavours UK has it. IMO it is totally worth getting if you haven't got it already. I'm sure you probably knew that though.

If you like both custards then split it to 0.5% CAP v1 and 0.5% FA Custard Premium. It's good that way too.

The FLV Cream is there to add fullness and mouthfeel. You can bump it up some if you want to actually taste more of the cream but be careful as it can quickly take over the mix. I would bump it to perhaps 6 drops where you will notice it sitting there slightly.

If you want it to take on an ice cream flavor add 1-1.5% FA Vanilla Ice Cream. That is really good btw. A good sub for that would be FW Vanilla Bean Ice Cream at the same %'s. I've tried it both ways and it is good. I am one of those who gets the peppery taste from TPA VBIC so I don't care for that.

Likewise if you just want a nice smooth vanilla vape make it without the FA Custard Premium. Minus the custard it makes a rather nice base for bakery or fruits for example. If you want more vanilla flavor up the INW Shisha Vanilla in 0.25% increments. Strawberries work real nicely with it too.

I always have some of the above ready to vape. I love my vanillas.

I do recall having a conversation with you about them in another thread and that was the seed you firmly planted in my noggin'. Can't wait till my wire gets here so I can try it in some atty's. AVS also had some pre-made claptons on sale so I got some of those to try (28g/36g).

I'll be putting a MTL clapton in mine it gets here, it's all I've used for last few years, I get my clapton wire from lightning vapes, 6 wraps gives me 1.5 ohm coil, vape at 20 watts, really good flavor, but on smaller tanks like the doggy or true tank, does get rather warm.

Should add @Heartsdelight I got the VV MTL clapton wire, I did not think it was that good compared to the lightning vapes clapton wire, so even if not impressed with the VV wire, would still try the LV's too, if you don't like it, I'll buy it off you for half price

I’m sure the Lightning Vapes wire & the Advanced Vape Supply MTL Clapton wire @ShowMeTwice got is a lot better than the VV

Thanks Nailz. I just ordered a spool of 36k/28k single core. Didn't see kanthal at AVS when I placed my order yesterday. The last time I ordered from Lightning Vapes was for spare insulators + o-rings for my KFL. I've been getting my kanthal and ss316L from Temco.

Didn't LV have a fire that took out much of their stock a couple years ago?

I'm glad you love it And it surprises me that it leaked with rayon using the short wick method, rayon is tailor made for that type of wicking. Who knows how the Vape Gods think French way has been working for me - no leaking, gurgling or dry hits (unless I forget to turn JFC back on )

In my defense (pitiful that it is) I'm in TC 400f 17w preheat 2.5mm 0.6ohm ss316l 28ga. If I upped the watts a bit, it would be a lot thirstier I'm sure

I'm also gonna admire your extension to see if I can deal with the height. Got a fixation with short RTAs

Yes LV did have a fire a couple of years ago. As far as I know they have recovered.
