My guess is that whomever warned you against the Noble 1 doesn't own one. True it is made of aluminum which means that it is extremely susceptible to showing signs abuse. Last road trip, I made the mistake putting it in a cup holder along w a P+ and a Provari... They weren't nice to the little guy..

My only real complaints about the Noble 1 are 1) there is no lock on the switch and 2) there is no insulator separating the bottom of the battery from the switch...

Adding an insulator was easy... The lack of a switch lock simply means that you don't want to put it a pocket with anything else.

Aside from that, it's a rock solid little device.
The aluminum makes the the Noble 1 extremely conductive and also very light. In addition, it has one of the smallest air chambers out there... Not Doodle Bug or Foggatti small, but certainly smaller than most.

Can you give me more info on adding the insulator? Got my Noble 1 yesterday and I'm loving it so far. I have the richman rba with sigelei #20. I didn't like it. Too heavy and I could not get it to vap good consistently. Noble 1 I got to vape well first shot. Good will be my daily.

Wish I could tell what size washer to get but I was too lazy to run to Lowes and find the correct size... I just ground down a larger one that I had lying around.
It looks pink because it held in with LockTite Red. The blue looked better but kept coming loose.

Also, you can't see it in the picture, but I added a thin brass washer under the screw to shot hen the throw about 3/4 mm.

Here's a few other Hybrids to think about.

From left to right: Tsunami, Orion, Ihybrid, Jugernaut, Macaveli, Somnium, Zenesis MFA, and Zenesis Standard.

I've heard great things about the Diablo. The only negative I've heard so far is about the switch. I think Gixxer has decided to go with a spring instead of the magnets due to all the problems people were having. But, the 24k Gold one looks pretty sick. But 450 euros? Yikes! I would hope that it come's with the white gloves, because I think I would be afraid to touch the thing with my bare hands. The black chrome finish sounds interesting as well.

ok...here are some more details...im really leaning toward this mod....
it is actually 483 dollars with shipping from finland, there are no springs so far, gixxxer will send it when he is done getting those upgraded switch parts, maybe a few months, the black is a weapons grade ceramic- sounds great but a long way off from what i gathered-
im not the type to keep on a shelf with white gloves- i beat the hell outta my poldiacs and zen sw so this will prob become my main go to mod...
some more opinions fishercat?

I saw his post where he said the mods would be anywhere from 300 to 450 euros and I assumed it would be on the high end for the gold plated one. $483 shipped isn't bad at all for such a fine piece of hardware. I really don't think that you could go wrong with this. As you can see from my pic, I love mods that are out of the ordinary, so I'm definitely drooling as well.
Are there any worries with the gold plating wearing off from use?

yeah i would figure that it would eventually build a gorgeous petina from constant use...im not too worried as u can see in pics of my poldiacs they r totally scratched- btw- all threads are gold plated as well- teemu said that silver didnt wanna stick as well-
so the entire mod is stainless steel fully gold plated except for the atty....which is cool....
im actually REALLY jealous of ur hybrids- lol dont understand how u were able to chase all those unobtainables down...lol
im happy with 2 poldiacs and a zen sidewinder camo upgraded to brass contacts but just felt the need for one more hybrid- serious need....lol...and the diablo 24k seems to scratch that itch really well at the moment....

brass and carbon fiber looks great...wow..never looked at this page, maybe cuz most of the stuff is sold out lol nevermind he explains he will hand turn it nniiicew
so ...u never aswered- how did u collect all the hybrids i drool over lol

Yeah, those are really nice tips.

How did I collect them? Really just patience and persistence and a bit of luck. You never know what mod will come up for sale or trade. So, when I get some spare time, I check the classifieds here as well as some of the Facebook groups. The only one of those that I payed over retail for was the Ihybrid. Everything else I got at retail or below. For me, the hunt is what I enjoy.

i get where u comin from...at this point its about collecting the right piece for me as well....
i specifically want a hybrid mod, thats why i was asking about more info on diablo hybrid owners...but from the descriptions and reviews so far, especially considering im savin up for the luxury 24k i think that should be pretty sweet....im gonna have it laser etched once i receive it to personalize it a bit more....
tell me honestly...do u think 24k is too much or should i just accept it as the rightful king of my collection?

Is that a metallic or rubber washer? What is the purpose for it? Sorry to sound ignorant.
