Most things that are made and advertised to be collectible generally are not. I hate that the mod culture has become more about collecting and less about vaping.

I know...

I admit that I am very tempted on few of those and I was ready to burn some cash on them next week.

But, I am sure they are not that big of step up from my provari...

Price yes. Looks yes. But performance.. are they really worth about as twice as much compared tk Provari (i do own one and like it . but I still think that it shouldn't have priced that much IMHO)

I am so confused. If I should just stick with budget Mech like K100 and just be happy with it..

eGo-v knock off, eVic, ProVari mini, Smoktech Pyrex DCT, RY4 Kustom

If you are thinking investment, I thought the idea is to buy low and sell high...
As for rarity, a total run of 500 pieces is not all that unusual. A lot of devices have runs lower then that.

Buy it if you really like it and want to use it but don't expect a higher return on investment.

Also, you should get verified and check the classifieds. There are rules against profiteering. You cannot post to sell an item there for more then 20% above the RETAIL value. That means you will not even be able to sell it here for what you paid for it.

If you're into the higher-priced/higher-quality mech mods - there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Get yerself a Chi-you, GGTS, Caravela, Nzonic, Nemesis, The King, etc. etc. etc.....

Just don't get gouged. Get on a list, get in on a pre-order or just wait for someone to sell one in the classies for a fair price.

Nothing wrong with wanting the best...you just gotta wait. ;)

That being said - if all you have is a Provari and have never had a mechanical mod, I would strongly suggest you try one of the cheaper models before hunting Unicorns.

Vape Rev has them for two bills........Id just wait till they got another in stock (they probably have one in stock in their shop). Wait, wait, I so predicted this! KP bashes then buys. So you decided to take a look at getting a "stronger piece of pipe" huh.

Sigh-kick....

I would suggest getting a EA for your first better mechanical if your set on spending some money. They are available solid well made mod. They are practically indestructible. Pocket friendly the brushed finish dose not scratch so easily.

Is EA this one?

It's kind of hard to call it a "clone" It's a tube with two caps, I held one the other day and honestly compared to the chi I'd buy a king, if it came down to quality anyways. Other wise I think it's kind of pretentious to come out with a collectors edition as your first model......kind of like Franklin Mint. I'm really excited to see more US company's coming out with high end mechs. The box probable accounts for 30 bucks. Id buy one any day of the week for $170 rolled in bubble wrap. They can keep the fancy box. Presentation wise, it kind of reminded me of a high end "Marital Aid". Other than that It was a sweat ... mod.
