Nomad, pure genius and I could not agree more. See my post immediately above.

If one isn't getting regular sex, if life just isn't fun anymore, if you've had to yourself quit drinking/drugs, if you are not intellectually stimulated by our world, the answer is simple: Run somebody else's life.

With ya there. I wrote quite a rant the "Great American Smoke-Out." Unfortunately the language is not permissible on ECF...

Power junkies are way more dangerous and deadly than any smoker (let alone vaper) ever could be.

People may vape more just because of the diversity of flavors out there. It may not be the nicotine addiction itself but the ability to change flavors. Ive seen alot of people mention "after dinner" vapes and "early morning vape with coffee". Imagine if you could change flavors of analogs like that. People would probably smoke more. With analogs, yes you are feeding your addiction but its the same old flavor each and every one.

This.

Can anyone give me even one example of when prohibition has ever worked? Or even made the so-called problem less prevalent? In most cases, it just makes it a million times worse. All prohibition does is fuel the black market, and crime by extension.

Besides that, I am so sick of government telling adults that they need to be protected from themselves.

I couldn't have put it better

Wow. The OP just opened up a huge can of worms with this thread! Almost anything can be addictive. Let's see...

Food. Food can be addictive. Let's ban food!
Gambling. Gambling can be addictive. Let's ban gambling!
Exercise. Some people get addicted to exercise. Let's ban exercise, too!

Vaping 10mls/day...I think you must be wasting more of it than you're actually vaping. Unless you're snorting it and to that I just call bullocks!

I went through 10ml in a day once. Still have the stain on my carpet where it tipped over while refilling a smaller bottle from a larger one.

That just struck me funny! I needed it, too. My humor quotient was running low because this has been a trying day for me. Lots of not-so-fun changes at work.

I'm sorry but this kind of logic makes me so angry. We are big boys are girls and we have to be responsible for what we put into our bodies. Everyone knows nicotine is addictive if you CHOOSE to use it you are likely to become addicted. The government isn't our mommy. It's not the governments place to keep us out of harms way- it is our own responsibility. Banning substances does nothing but create a black market. Look at all of the illegal drugs that are banned- yes ...... is addictive, but people are going to use it anyway- making it illegal just creates a black market and makes it much more dangerous. During prohibition people didn't just stop drinking because it was illegal- it created a black market. People are going to do what they are going to do- I believe that we should have the right to take any substance that we choose- it is none of the governments business.

Good point, NurseCin. Tonight as I successfully filled a cartomizer for only the second time since starting to vape, I decided on a whim to mix some English Toffee and some Chocolate Cream liquids together. I made a Heath Bar flavor... it's delicious, and I may even avoid eating the last piece of apple pie in the kitchen.

I'm finding out that the flavors go a long way not only to curb my enthusiasm for tobacco, but also to keep me away from the snack bowl and the refrigerator. Eat chocolate? Sure, but for now I can vape a chocolate toffee bar.

Another controversial subject. I'm not sitting on the fence on this one though.

Everything is addictive to those with addictive personalities - even food - and we should not ban food because of some people's psyches.

Electronic cigarettes offer harm reduction to smokers and there is no legitimate reason to ban them.

Its all about tax dollars. Smokers fund America. Big tobacco doesnt fight Ecigs because they have given up on making money here. They now sell to countries like Korea (who have little if any regulation) at a higher markup and make a killing. They are smart enough to keep the cost low enough in those countries to make an Ecig kit "expensive" as compared to a carton of cigs.
Bottom line it's all about money so a say a big :censored:you to anyone telling me what I can and cant do with my money, my body and for all intents and purposes my soul!

I haven't read all 36 previous posts. But, I notice the OP joined ECF last month, pretty recent.
I don't know how long he's been smoke free.
But, when I was fresh off cigarettes, and for months afterward, I had my PV glued to my face!

11 months later, not so much. Although I vape a lot, I can set it down for long periods of time without it crossing my mind.

I've never come close to consuming his 7-10ml/day though. Maybe UP your nic a bit.
