or .....slap the snot out of them!

Please, along with a shake of the head, a roll of the eyes and a grunt for good measure!
People (not including the persons on this forum) are all basically mildly ......ed (not being derogatory it is a real thing look it up) and are too concerned with what the twenty percent have told them is good/bad, right/wrong, and/or moral/immoral...in the end they should just get their own island utopia and screw each other senseless and other things in that vain...gee I hope that wasn't too harsh :)

Sorry, not having support from the people closest to you is the hardest. Luckily, my family has been pretty supportive. And most people in general have for that matter. When I told this 80-something year old guy I hadn't had a cigarette for five days, he smiled so big and said, "Good, we'd like to keep ya around for a while!" That felt so nice. I could see he was genuinely happy for me. When I first started switching my boss always said it didn't really count. That ...... me off. But now that he's learned more about them, he's realized that it's a very positive change for me and has been a lot more supportive.

I've not only received excellent support from my family for giving up the analogs, I've managed to convert my mother to e-cigs a couple of weeks ago and she loves them...she saw how well they've worked for me and decided to try them...she approached me for info on where to get them and how to get started... my cancer surviving, former smoker sister is thrilled by this development...

I don't think it's the nicotine that's the problem. If you were to quit using the patch or gum people would probably be giving you hi-fives and throw a party for you. I think it's the fact that vaping still looks like smoking. It appears that you get to have your cake and eat it too. People look at smokers like they look at child pornographers in today's society, and vaping gives people the mental image of smoking.

It all makes me wonder if the goal is to get everyone looking at us so people won't realize how messed up the accuser is. Working in a small office for a long, long, oh-so-long time, I've gotten to know my co workers quirks and there's NO ONE squeaky clean, trust me on that... The louder and more pious, the worse the skeleton, ya know?

I deal with this garbage often and am really sick of it. One woman at the dog park keeps telling me i am still smoking and nicotine causes cancer, yet when i correct her she says what ever and walks away >_<
I believe that this is the point at which Bill Engvall would offer her a sign.

I didn’t consider it anyone's business when I was smoking, I don’t consider theirs now that I am vaping. If it’s someone I don’t know or don’t care about I usually just give them an empty stare until they get uncomfortable and walk away. If they persist in standing there I tend to ask rude questions such as who are you again and how did I become your business? If it is someone I actually care about I will take the time to educate but me try to justify myself to someone who has nothing to do with my life ………nope not me, I have better things to do

I don’t think there is anything in world I find as stupid as peoples tendency to need to involve themselves in things that does not concern them, imposing their thoughts and opinions on those that have no need nor desire for them

My family seems to be my biggest hangup at the moment. I bought a pack of cigarettes because I had bought some juice from a local store that was seriously making my tongue numb and I just didn't trust it considering they were fruit flavored. So on the way to an actual dyed in the wool vape store that's over 200 miles away, I bought a pack of cigarettes. I have more than half left of that pack and it's been over 10 days. I was explaining to my Dad yesterday why I bought them and how I'm having a hard time getting rid of the craving I have every other day or so to him and how I was NOT going to buy any more cigarettes. My Dad replied sardonically " Yeah, til the next time you want one!" Really got my goat. I'm quitting for HIM. He has a lot of nerve considering I'm TRYING! UGH!

Sorry for thread hijacking, but yes.. I understand. People can be effing rude. :T

Word. The blank stare kills em every time.

That's the way the anti-social roll up in here.
