I ordered my APC mobile battery pack from Fry's on Monday, got to the store to pick it up with my co-worker (we had to goof around in the store for awhile) and when I was at the checkout counter I got an e-mail on my iPhone saying the store didn't have it in stock. So I had to cancel that order and re-order it to be shipped (stupid shipping charges). I ordered it at around 1:30 that afternoon to be shipped to my house.

When did I receive it you ask? Yesterday before 12:00! That's less than 24hrs!! Talk about fast shipping.

I charged it up and I have to say this is the best thing since sliced bread seriously. I feel free and without all the headaches I have been having. No more finicky batteries to worry about, consistent draws, and to be honest I think it seems to be the perfect current to the atomizer, because the flavors are much more noticeable, it's almost like the computer gave it to much power or not enough or something along those lines.

All I can say is that I am truly in vaping heaven now, and Peachette is my e-cig Angel!! Thank you for the link Peachette!!

This device will also serve a dual purpose when needed also.......it can charge my iPhone 3G too!! All this for 21.63 shipped (@##$$%# could have gotten it for 16 something if they had it in the store oh well) is definitely a vapers necessity.....I'm really digging vaping now!!

You're welcome. It's important we all share tips!

I feel the same way...it's vaping heaven.

I'll Never Have to use my regular Batteries again.
With my New Apc Mobile Battery Pack and My new Scosche Usb Car Charger From Wal-Mart. These two things were a great addition to my E-cig Collection.

You can Located The APC Mobile Battery Pack on Ebay for around $27.00 with shipping and Can find the Car Charger at Wal-Mart for under $5.00
Walmart.com: Scosche Dual USB Car Charger: Auto Electronics
Plus If you have another E-cig usb passthrough owner in the car it works great with both passthroughs!
So if I was you I would look into buying a usb Passthrough and never have to worry about your batteries again.

Certainly bastage, we're all referring to conventional e-cig batteries but just don't bother typing all that out. Nobody is under the delusion that we're harnessing zero-point energy here

Soon they will be using geothermal energy and solar to power E-cigs!

SuperStack-I actually get a much bigger hit off of the Passthrough from the APC Pack than when I use a regular battery. One bad thing is that it does get the Atomizer alot hotter, so could ruin the atomizers faster.. but for now.. I'm running.. completely e-cig battery free (the ones sold at time of purchase of starter kit)

That's good to know, thanks Duke :thumb:

How long have you been doing it? I heard the "cheap USB cables" snap on these things so their lifespan is not much longer than for regular batteries. But the source had an agenda, so i am not sure how valid the info is.

both of mine lasted 3 weeks.... the switch went south as usual.

i will install manual switches like the screwdriver. i think that will last....

I'm on Week 2 of my usb passthrough from PureSmoker and haven't had one ounce of drop off production yet. If you are constantly vaping on it.. beware.. the atomizer can overheat and boom no more vapor. It will fry it if you are not careful. I usually check mine after about a cigs worth of hits (10-15 draws)to make sure the atomizer is not getting too hot. As long as you keep an eye out on the atomizer you shouldn't have any problems making it last imo.

But if the dog snags it, the cat snags it, you snag it, or if anyone snags it it could do fatal damage to it so be careful. The wires in the passthrough, atomizers, batteries are very very thin so just remember the more you take care of your stuff usually the longer it lasts.
