Three weeks in.

683$ spent

It sure didnt seem that high until I added it up. Most of the purchases have been 30$ and under; theres just so many of them. :X

If the banner (that I cant add to my signature yet) is accurate Ive saved a little over 100$ on analogs, so maybe just 580$ over.
But I should be set on batts and juice for a few solid months.

Hopefully it will work out in the end. Ill gain my health and a hobby. I can put off buying some games for a while.

Must resist compulsion to buy new things...

I don't see it as so much as saving money, I see it more as a healthier idea to smoking. I'd pay $1,000 a month for vaping gear if it meant I just added a few more years (or more) to my life by not smoking, and the overall feeling so much better, being able to breathe, not smelling like smoke, and being able to walk across a parking lot without being winded.

I DIY my juice and use rebuildable attys/genesis tanks so my maintenance is on the cheap and most of the money I spend is on new PV's

Ive got wire and wick for rebuilding because i like the idea of spending a few cents rather than few dollars on juice receptacles. Ive got a hacker/tinkerer gene so fiddling with coils is right up my alley. Not sure I have the palate for DIY juice but we'll see a few months/years down the line.

I think I'd get in on some of that rebuildable action, but I want an Odysseus which is hard to acquire. I'm keeping my eye out for something similar to be readily available. I don't think I'll ever DIY my juice either, but you never know.

Ive only got a pheonix clone so far with a griffin clone on the way but the vivi nova heads seem pretty easy to rebuild. I just gotta practice getting the coils and ohms right. My twists and vv gripper are also on the way so I cant fine tune anything yet to make it all worthwhile. Next week is going to be fun. :vapor:

Hey as long as your not smoking and not spending a whole lot more than what you spent on analogs who cars. Money is a secondary concern compared to your health. Think how much you'll save in refilling oxygen bottles and hospital deductible. Not to forget the fact you no longer smell like a 2 year old ashtray. LOL
Then there is the fact that for now at least you can vape in places you could not have smoked in.

I am only 20 or so days in, and have a cigar box full of varied juices from different vendors (most is still steeping obviously), 2 twists, my starter Volcano Inferno set, a handful of those stardust thingies so I can change to different juices all day long, and I have to run to the mailbox to hide my deliveries from the hubby almost every day!
Him: You bought ANOTHER battery (juice, etc)??
Me: Ummm, no...this old thing? I have had this forever!
or...Oh but I bought two! one for me, one for you. I thought you would like it!

It sucks having to buy two of everything so I can enjoy one.
And, I am already wanting a Provari.

Please tell me that this lunacy will end!

Now that I'm building coils for the Vivi Nova, and my juice sets me $35 for 10-12 weeks, I've convinced the wife I'm FINALLY going to start saving big bucks. :2cool:

Then, here comes the ZMax that looks really interesting, and I want to get a nice RBA to try out. I guess I'll have to take her shopping to make up for it all as that seems to even her back out for a while. I always wait until we're on the way to her store of choice to spring the news I've got another package coming in the mail.

well I don't know about that but I think my DIY is just as good or better then any thing I can buy but I have been at DIY for a long time and at first it was kind of hit or miss sort of like learning to cook or maybe I'm just biased by the $1.60 it cost me to make a 60ml bottle of juice but my point is in the long run vaping can be cheaper then smoking.
