now if they had customer info hacked several times and made no changes....thats an issue and i'd avoid that person.
I just sent emails to the vendors I purchased from informing them that my card was hacked. I'm wondering if it will do any good. Will they even look into this issue? If they have had similar problems in the past, will they even be willing to inform me of that? Businesses do not like to admit they are having problems as it tends to scare off customers. Surely they must realize that by being honest and telling me they are having security issues, it would more than likely cost them my business. I'm sure the vendors would like to remedy any security issues as quickly as possible, but how would I know when placing another order would be safe? Do I take their word for it?
It seems as if trying to determine which vendors to avoid, by asking the vendors themselves, could be considered an exercise in futility.
I will have to wait for their replies(if any) to see how forthcoming they are.
