I felt like a kid on Christmas morning tearing into the package.
I finally got my Sidesho
I waited about two weeks for Tony to get the color combo I wanted from his supplier. But as soon at it got to Tony, he shipped it off to me the next morning. He was great about keeping me posted as to the arrival. He send me several PMs.
He also threw in some free carts and stuff for me. (Thanks bunches, Tony) He enclosed several business cards that I will definitely hand out to people. I've told everyone I've talked to about e-cigs and pointed them to Modern Vapor. My family is thrilled that I am giving up analogs. My husband is also thrilled that he will no longer have to spend $200 a month on them for me. And I finally get to put the little counter banner on my signature line. (How about you make one with an MV logo, Tony?)
OK, so quick review;
I love the Sidesho. The unit itself and the PCC are quality pieces. It feels good in my hand, solid, but not heavy. It is a bit shorter than the 120 analogs I am used to. They are well built, so I doubt even living in my purse will destroy them anytime soon. I got a black batt with a pink LED. The LED is more of a fuchsia than the cotton candy pink of the carts, but it is pretty. My spot on the sofa is right across from the aquarium, so I can see the fuchsia reflection every time I hit it. Cool!
It arrrived charged, so after a quick clean of the attys in a shot of Everclear I started vaping. (Note - when using Everclear, let the attys air dry. Don't blow them out, because your lips will go numb from the alcohol.)
I got tons of vapor on the very first drag. So much more vapor than I was expecting - I actually coughed on the first couple of hits. One of the short people walked past, and instead of coughing and giving me that "I wish you'd quit smoking" look, he said it smelled nice. Wow!
I first tried the tobacco carts that came in the kit. Yuck! Maybe it is the primer on the atty because it tastes kind of like a burning electrical appliance smells, or when you're soldering. But it also tastes like a Nicotrol Inhaler. Fake tobacco flavor maybe?? Or does nicotine itself have a flavor? Then again, it might be the atty because I get a bit of that burnt flavor when the juice in the carts is low.
The coffee carts were yummy. More like a coffee flavored candy than coffee itself. It was really good. I'll have to get a bottle coffee liquid. But in a lower nic, because I got quite a head rush.
B&H was better than regular tobacco. It may take some getting used to. Or maybe I'm one of those that just doesn't care for the tobacco flavors.
The RY4 liquid that I put in a blank cart was very good. It tastes sweet, but like tobacco without that icky taste that I got from the tobacco carts. Reminded me of a pipe tobacco that my dad used to smoke. RY4 might become my standard non-candy flavor.
So I vaped for about four hours on one battery. Then I made dinner and after I ate, I lit an analog. I thought I was going to puke! How did I never notice that those things tasted so bad? Like burnt feathers. Disgusting! I think I am sold on this vaping thing
The only complaint I have is that the cord for the charger is too short, I had to use an extension cord to put it on the end table.
I got a 902 too, just to try it. I really like the looks of it. It is long, like my 120 analogs and fits nicely in my hand. The whistle tip cart is very comfortable. Unfortunately, I can't get it to vape. I filled the cart, and the LED lights up, but no vapor!? I put it on the charger and will soak the atty and see what happens.
All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. The product is very good and Tony is great. Even though I had to wait a bit, I am glad I went with Modern Vapor for my first e-cig, instead of ordering from a different company.
I do have a couple of questions;

I do have a couple of questions;
- How long does a batt take to charge in the PCC? In the wall charger?
- How long to charge the PCC? Can I plug it in and go to bed? Will it stop charging when it is full or will something bad happen?
- There is a clear inner cart that makes something very similar to the straw mod that people talk about in the forum. What are the cap thingies for the carts that were mentioned in another thread?
- How much should I fill a cart? 15-20 drops looks about the same as the pre-filled ones.
- After a half hour or so of steady vaping, I get a burnt, skunky taste. The cart is still half full. Should I top it off, or does that mean that the atty has gotten too hot?
- What do the lights mean? Red and green on the charger, and blinking on the batt?
- And when will you get the PCCs that hold an assembled e-cig and the cool T shirts?
