I've been effectively vaping for 43 days. Haven't smoked a single analog since then. 42 out of those days I've been on ECF reading and I've come to the conclusion that I still don't know jack about it all.

There's sooooo many different things one can learn, the information is mind blowing..... But awesome.

With that said, I'm looking for my next RBA, Tank, Mod, or dripper.

A dripper sounds all nice and dandy but being on the road all day might be an issue. However doesn't every vaper have one?

A new RBA.... I only have 1. It's a Kayfun clone and I enjoy the heck out of it. Would definitely love some suggestions on other ones. I had just looked at the GUS Estia but found out it wouldn't work with anything I have (how did I not know there's more than ego and 510 threads?)

Which brings me to my next point.... All I own so far is a little ego twist, and a MVP2. Should I go for a new higher end mod?

Another Tank..... To be honest I haven't used any of my tanks in 4+ days and have only been using my kayfun clone however I also only have 6 tanks. A Protank 2, protank 3, kanger t3, iclear 30, another top coil tank that I don't even know what it is, and an Aspire BDC.

I have a budget of around $150-$180 on whatever new toy you can recommend (with reason). I should also mention I have a Nautilus coming my way.

Thanks ladies & Gentlemen! This should be fun. What's YOUR favorite?

1: dripper: doesn't every vaper have one? No.
Ok, I have a makeshift using miniprotank bases, plus I can drip off a genny, but I never do.

2: If you are happy with your Kayfun, maybe you should get another for backup/parts.... and if you don't have the glass tank option for it, maybe you should look for it.

REO?

The Provari would fall within your stated $150-$180 budget. They start out at $159. Considering their durability and longivity, it could be the last mod you'll ever need.

Apparently you didn't read the testamonial links that I provided in the above blog. Anyway, you asked what was my favorite. I didn't mean to start another Provari vs XXXXX mod thread. If its not in your budget, look elsewhere. Carry on. :)

Can't say enough good things about the Provari. Built like a tank and can be sent in to be repaired for the lifetime of the device for a reasonable fee. Even if you buy some mechanical mods later (and I recommend later) it will serve a second duty as a coil tester. You can put practically *everything* on top of it and it will both look, and more importantly, vape great. There are many good things to be said for a VV device and the Provari is arguably the best of them.

I'm kinda in the same boat as the OP. A Provari was at the top of my list, BUT.... I want a VW device (love my MVP). I've wondered - and don't know if it would work, be safe, or what.... would a Kick work in a Provari to make it VW - or is the Provari quality such that I just wouldn't care about the VW anymore?

we'll see you in ReoVille when you reach your destination. for now, enjoy your journey.

just so you know, a reo is a bottom feeding mod. you put the juice in a bottle and screw the bottle into the mod. then you put the door on over the bottle and the battery. there's a little thumb hole so you can squeeze (squonk) your bottle to feed juice to the customized bottom feeding RDA. this can all be done one handed. thus dripping and driving with full flavor and robust vapor was born.

praise mod. EDIT: Hallelujah!

would a Kick work in a Provari to make it VW

no. the provari has it's own electronics. the kick is for mechanicals. mechs are just battery tubes and the kick provides the circuitry.

Regarding the vv vs. vw issue I personally don't really see how it matter much. I have always just "dialed to taste" with any device and any topper. If it is too weak, I turn it up. Too strong, turn it down. Want more flavor, squonk or drip more. More throat hit, the slow mouth to lung. Big cloud, direct to lung. More air, less air, more volts, less volt, more watts, less watts the list goes on and on. My favorite variable device is my Duke and with that you literally dial to taste, no marking on the dial, could just be magic for all I know but I don't care...I just tune whatever I'm using to what I want at the moment and if that device won't give it to me, well then I just pick up a different one.

*ramble mode off*

Buuuut, Mr. Bad went so far as to actually work the title of a working LINK into a well formed sentence. Well played sir!

I have been vaping successfully for 20 months, and tried many different clearos and tanks. Just in the last couple of months I have found what is my current "be all end all" device...carto tanks. They are simply the least frustrating, most consistent delivery device I have used. IBTanked is my preferred followed by much cheaper Smoktech. These things have made my experience so much more satisfying.

vaping 50/50 pg/vg or thinner, ikenvape nitro series cartos are just stellar performers. really beginning to love the DCT Pro cartos.

Love it, great clip! No, no can of worms at all. Just that when someone says "cartotank" it's like the bat cignal for Baditude, he's usually all over those. Don't know how he does it, he's everywhere.

Great suggestion on cartotanks and IBTanked tanks too, cartos don't get the praise they deserve. I set one up last week after not using one for a long time due to being on an RDA, RBA, KFL+, etc. kick. I was blown away at the performance, seriously. I forgot how good the flavor is, how hard they hit, and how much dang vapor they put out. Truly amazing.

Actually, bad is my hero...got me on to carto tanks...I like to emulate him when I can...suspect he'll be along shortly.

I have so many batteries, pvs/apvs, and just ordered my 3rd mech I don't know what to tell you. I do know that out of all of them when it comes to which one I take out and about it's the Provari 2.5 with an IBTank cartomizer and an extra 18650 battery. I just ordered a Kayfun 3.1 to go on top of whatever works best, LoL. I've got numerous drippers and two AGA-T 2's that I use daily, love the way they vape. You have a nice piece with the MVP2, I have one as well, it was my go to before the Provari, you can't go wrong with it. Good luck with what ever you decide!

Ps. Bad is a big influence for me as well and has not steered me wrong at all. Maybe we just share the same taste :)

I kind of lost track of this thread once the OP said he wasn't interested in a Provari. Proving that I don't try to hammer a Provari into the mind of someone who doesn't want one, I decided to leave enough alone.

Of course I recommend a cartotank. They have been my reliable and dependable and most favored juice attachment for nearly two years. I tried all the clearomizers and a couple of Genesis-style RBA's, but all of them were inconsistant and fussy. I never had problems with my cartotanks, and they provided the best flavor and consistancy, so I always returned to using them the most.

I will say that my favorite new tank is the Kayfun Lite +. My most-used flavor is always in it and has become my most used tank. I still keep a few IBTanked cartotanks at the ready, as I often switch flavors a few times a day. Like the Provari seems to provide a smoother vaping experience, the Kayfun does nothing but increase the smoothness of the vape. I'm extremely impressed. In my mind, this combo is tuff to beat as a simple vaper who is not into sub ohm rebuildables or high wattage vaping.

I tell this story often. PBusardo is one of the top e-cig reviewers in the world. He has his pick of nearly any mod available. He was asked if he had to choose a single mod and juice attachment and give up all the rest, what would be the combo?

His quick answer was a Provari and Kayfun. He has been seen using this combination at 3 of the last four vape bashes. For someone who has his pick of nearly any mod and topper in the world, choosing a Provari and a Kayfun speaks volumes to me.
