I'm kinda in the same boat as the OP. A Provari was at the top of my list, BUT.... I want a VW device (love my MVP). I've wondered - and don't know if it would work, be safe, or what.... would a Kick work in a Provari to make it VW - or is the Provari quality such that I just wouldn't care about the VW anymore?

No.

err. not a regular drop in kick module.

but actually there is a sigelei kick module you can stick on a mod; technically speaking; not sure how well it would work on a regulated mod; depending on what ohms the mod read when it attempts to apply power.

i respect pbusardo greatly for his in depth reviews and electrical understanding.

though, i don't take complete and total faith into his opinion for an end all, be all vape.

couple reasons. first (and purely subjective), he's received free for review and had a Reo Grand for quite some time and yet to review it evidenced by this video uploaded Feb. 15th... A PBusardo Review - The Scenic City Chattanooga Vape Meet - YouTube

just another example. in this niquid test kit review, he takes an awful long time testing his nic and isn't sure exactly when he's hit his mark. he's only testing 24mg/ml nic.

then he tries it with flavored juice.

he should have suggested an erlenmeyer flask backed in white paint coupled with some kind of mixer to drastically speed up nic testing and improve reliability via opacity afforded by churning of the liquid. just one mans opinion.

so, the man's not perfect. though, he does know that vaping and what works best for each person is completely subjective.

but he does recognize the quality of the provari. so that's a plus.

If your on the road a lot and want a mod and an RDA than go with the REO. You can have either 6 or 3 mls of liquid and build a coil to your liking. They have just been upgraded to sub ohm so it will cover all your needs in one package. The budget will be tight but it will be money well spent. even though I have only had it a short time it's my traveling partner.

squonking is a beautiful thing!

I own a bottom feeding box mod. Although not a Reo, it wasn't for me. I change flavors (tanks) far too often during the day, which doesn't conveniently work with a bottom feeder. I'm not particularly fond of 510 atomizer dripping, which I used on my bottom feeder. I guess if I had an All Day Vape, I'd consider using the bottom feeder more often. But I don't.

Not trying to sway anyone away from a Reo. Their reputation is equal to the Provari's. Different strokes for different folks.

I say go with a Provari I just bought one it should be here tomorrow YAY! I can't wait to give her a go! Or an MVP 2.0 Shine they come in pretty colors and have crystals on them and sell for around 40.99 on eBay to 89.99 at my local B&M where I got my first one and I got my second one on eBay for just a little over $32.00 I got lucky on that purchase lol Those are my suggestions but I bought the Provari because of their durability and longevity.

I tell this story often. PBusardo is one of the top e-cig reviewers in the world. He has his pick of nearly any mod available. He was asked if he had to choose a single mod and juice attachment and give up all the rest, what would be the combo?

His quick answer was a Provari and Kayfun. He has been seen using this combination at 3 of the last four vape bashes. For someone who has his pick of nearly any mod and topper in the world, choosing a Provari and a Kayfun speaks volumes to me.

PBusardo pointing at his black Mini Provari and Kayfun.

That is only because he hasn't reviewed a Reo... yet. (I kid, I still love my Provari, but my Reo is my new favorite child.) ;)

Lots of good info in here for sure, really comes down to what you are looking for in style and function. I don't know whose hands they use to model devices in general, it's alarming to me to know that there are so many adults out there with such tiny hands! Point is, almost no device is going to be as large as you think it is going to be. Provari Mini is about the size of a small pocket flashlight and a Reo is about the size of a deck of cards.

Look at it this way, you can buy something high quality like a Provari or Reo with almost no risk at all. Try it and, if you don't love it for some reason, you can get an incredibly high return from the classies here or swap it for whatever you want to try next.

Personally, I don't think most guys would like the shine. They're decorated with Swarovski crystals. The black & skull would be ok, though. The MVP comes in a series called Energy that has a bit more "guy friendly" designs, if you want something other than plain. But, you can't beat the plain old MVP in black or carbon black. JMHO. And, who wouldn't like a Provari??

Looked at Hana Modz, showed the wife, almost got slapped. Dang. Hahha

I love the look of my Hana. If you want a regulated vape why not look into the vaporshark dna 30? It's $169.99. I believe that's still in your budget?

I have both Btw. The VS is my on the go vape because it's tiny and lightweight. The Hana Modz is my go to child when I'm at home so I get to pop in a fresh 650 battery and start blowing them clouds haha.
