Congrats
I own both and prefer the Spinner over the Twist cuz the voltage dial is knurled and #'s easier to see.
Have to go for dinner.

lol I haven't made a decision yet! Should I aim for VW too? This is like going to the supermarket and having to choose between 12 different types of apples...

The variable wattage batteries seem pretty chunky, except the Innokin iTaste V3. I'm not sure if I need VW though?

One thing I've realised is that all of them are a lot larger than I thought, especially the tanks - 64mm! Should just about fit in my pocket when I'm out and about...

tanks - I'll probably get a Protank 2, but maybe a Smoktech DCT...at least I've (almost) chosen one part so far.

Any final opinions on any of these products?

You don't need variable wattage. Some people like using that function, but it is not essential.

Some of those items are not compatible with each other unless you use an adaptor: the Evod & iClear 16 are ego-threaded and will only fit an eGo battery, not a 510 thread device (ZMax, SVD, VW-V3).

Hi guys, please forgive me but I've also posted this in the UK forum to get advice on products which I can easily get over here. I'd like a more general opinion too though.

I'm a newbie vaper and an expert at quitting cigs..lol. I know if I get a decent PV I'll be able to quit for good, but I need some advice on what to buy.

After doing some research I came across the Halo Triton, but the general opinion (in the thread I started in the new members forum) is that the Triton isn't a good idea due to the incompatibility with other products and the shipping costs to the UK.

I've read tanks are the way to go in terms of quality of vaping, amount of smoke, flavour and cost?

I would like to invest in the best PV possible and I don't mind spending a good amount of money...

What I'm looking for...

-Feels and looks like a quality product
-Is not too large to take out and easily fits in my pocket
-Has a few hundred puffs before recharging
-Produces lots of vapour
-Very reliable
-Never leaks
-Brings out the flavours in the liquids (I've read that some do this better than others?)

Desirable but not a necessity:

-Can connect cartomisers as well as tank for a more discreet look when I'm out
-Compatible with other e cig accessories

I'm not sure if I should consider a variable voltage PV, I assume these are for heavy vapers that want a stronger hit?

I don't really have a budget...

I'm open to any ideas!

Thanks for your help :)
Creme De La Creme = Provari or a REO...
That is the end all be all top of the line

next from there would be a discreet unit called the iTaste MVP2 that actually does more than the above AND its self contained, no need to pull batteries to charge

ZMAX, eVic, and other VV/VW rigs are the intermediary rigs

Vamo V3, capable (of doing all the above) device but considered my many to be "budget" rig

As some say, buy once - cry once

Just to clarify guys - although I started this thread saying that I want the best product out there, I'm going to save that purchase (of a REO or Provari) for a little while...

For now, what I'm looking for is a VV battery that easily fits in my pocket for taking out and won't leave me too upset if I lose it.

OK, five pages in and no one has posted it. Can't resist.

The REO Grand is surprisingly compact, I bought mine specifically for carrying around and it's a Grand VV. I have to agree that the itaste vv is a slick looking machine. They do make some stylish stuff.

lol @ your name!

I think I'd like something a bit more moderately priced for taking out though, but thanks for your input :)

Go with War Hawks suggestion, itaste MVP 2. Huge battery, vv/vw and not a bank buster. I have seen starter kits for around 70 US dollars.

I don't vape that much, mostly in the evenings so charging every day for me is no issue. I'd like something a bit more compact than an MVP for keeping in my pocket when I'm out. Phone in one pocket, wallet and e cig in the other...an MVP might be a bit of a squeeze!

Well the problem with going much smaller is you are going to start cramping your battery life. You get into the smaller batteries and you only get 3 or 4 hrs. You say you don't vape much, so it may be a non issue but I find it more of a pain carrying extra batteries than a larger apv. But that's just me.

My mini fits in a very small purse. ;) It would certainly fit in a pocket.

3 or 4 hours would be plenty for me, especially for taking out. I'll be looking into a PV just for home use soon, but want something a bit more compact for both home use and when I'm out.

You mean the the Itaste mini 3.0? iTaste Mini VV/VW V3 [VE488] - £32.99 : Vape Escape

Thanks

I'm very tempted...slightly worried about losing a Provari on a night out though!

Well, most of us have backups for our backups....perhaps you can take something less valuable to you when you are out on the town and use the excellent device when you would be more mentally present and less distracted?

I hear the Itastes are quite nice and the Ego V V-2 (I have two) is an adequate device for a lesser quality backup.

As I write these posts I'm chuffing away on a crappy 10 motives e cig producing almost no vapour and flavourless :(

10mrechnew_sml6_zps556ddac2.jpg

I'll get there eventually though...and then wait 2 weeks for delivery!

I call them "gas station e-cigs".

I use Kanger EVODs as kick around units. They have actually been very reliable and if I drop one in a mud puddle or manage to run it over with my car it's no big deal. A starter kit was 39 US and came with two. If I wreck one I'm out 19.50. Spent that much on a CD just to listen to it and find all the songs stink. (Come on, we all have done that.)

But then again, I can cook thru a Evod battery in about 3 hrs or so. They seldom go out with me.
