Man.... I stocked up on some ikenvapes, and all i get is burnt taste.

I tried boge, wasnt impressed.

I use smok. No issues. No burnt taste. I know i prep my cartos correctly as imuse cartotanks 90% dont know why the ikenvapes tadte burnt.

Are you running too much power? Is the batting all wet?

I have only had that burning taste when my Provari was set too high or if the carto was not properly primed.

I sat and watched pbusardo's video on carto filling about 3 times to be sure I was doing it right. I didn't realize how good my carto punch was, so I ended up bending the carto too much the first time by over tightening the punch. But the second time, it worked like a dream.
I only own ikenvape's since they got such great reviews here... and I am totally impressed (I got the 801 non punched fusions). No burnt flavor. (I secretly like the flavor a lot more than in my kayfun)
Btw, pbusardo shows where the burnt flavor comes from with a disassembled carto. I am a noob at this stuff and got it right on the second try, following the carto condom method.

The Fusion are out of stock, and I can't find anywhere when they might be back - anyone know?
It could be weeks. Isaac commissions a manufacturer in China to make the Ikenvape carts to his specifications (coils, batting material, etc). Typically a shipment gets in and they sell out within 48 hours, they are that popular. My understanding is he is only alotted so many per order.

I suggest going on the website and get placed on the email "notify me" list. Know ahead of time which model you want and don't hesitate to make your order. Procastinate and you will miss your opportunity.

Kind of depends on how many tanks you have!!
If you're Baditude, you might have 6 tanks that all need a new carto one week, right?
:)
But if you've just got a couple tanks, 10 cartos might last you 2 months...
I haven't "stocked up" yet, as I'm still trying to decide what my favorite is.

How many cartos are you guys ordering at a time? I went with 10, but now I am nervous.

My last order I got 25 Mega Platinum standard resistance punched and 25 Mega 510-Fusion standard resistance punched . That was a few months ago and I'm still using that batch. Depending upon the juice, I often get 2 - 4 weeks on a carto.

At one time I used to have up to a dozen tanks going at once, but nowadays I only have a few going simultaneously. I've not noticed much difference between the Plats or Fusions. It also makes no difference to me whether they have a flange or not.

Side note if you're not familiar with Ikenvapes: There are two types of Fusions. The 510-Fusions which can fit any 510 thread top connector; and the 801 Fusions which will require a 510 to 801 adaptor to fit on a 510 connector battery.

Good to know and thanks. In that case I'll go with the Fusion, since I know how to work with those!

A place some call paradise
I only put ikenvape cartos into tanks of juice I know I like. I have a couple smok cartos ill use if I'm unsure of a juice being ready or it's flavor. When I run out of those ill use the fusions before I use up my platinums. I don't like the flange at all, makes it feel unstable to me. The platinums keep flavor better than the fusions IMO but that doesn't hole too much stock. I thought I was going to love the fusions so last time that's what I ordered. I guess it might not be the carto, it might be that it's a sr set instead of lr set.

I bought 60 Ikenvape cartos, 20 Fusion, 20 Platinum 2 holes, 20 Platinum slotted. I get about double the life from an Ikenvape than I do from a Smok carto. The juices I use are dark and sweet. I usually change carto when I change flavors if it's a drastic change but since I mostly switch between different coffee flavors, I will sometimes use the same carto.
