This is really addicting!
As mentioned in a previous post I just recently came back in the vaping scene.
I got a bunch of new toys to vape on and I am always looking for something cool to play with!
I recently went into a vape shop and saw some really well-made mods! got my itch going again! The mod that I was holding was the Uwell Nunchuku or something, damn it was nice!

So here is what I am looking for a super premium, heavy duty mod!

Here is what I currently have and "how" I am using them:

Vaporesso Luxe, was going to be that high premium daily sit on the desk mod, it is ok, works and looks nice but I want more!

Vaporesso Zero/Aspire Nautilus AIO, was looking for something pocketable and be able to sneak in some quick on the go hits. they are kinda ok... Until I got this next one...

Lost Vape Orion, now that a cool device, it's basically what both Vaporesso Zero/Aspire Nautilus AIO would have been used for but the Orion is just so much cooler! and works better.

Vaporesso Orca Solo, that one is still sitting in the box, was gonna be a back up if box mods failed me, this is probably the closest thing to what I had before I stopped vaping.

Vaporesso Tarot Baby, I like the Luxe so much I for a smaller version, this is pretty pocketable.

Vaporesso Cascade One Plus, even more pocketable!

So... I want something cool and nice, probably with external batteries so I dont have to throw the mod away when the battery poops on me.
I dont want to run into the same situation as the Last Vape Orion, I probably wouldn't have gotten both Vaporesso Zero/Aspire Nautilus AIO if I have started with the Orion.

What do you guys think?

The legend is quite rugged, but it isn’t super premium. That’s a price point. The legend is a bit large and heavy and does use external batteries. It does not have a dna chip, but the one it does have isn’t bad. Super premium imho starts around $300 and goes way up from there. A legend can be had for less than a third of that

Sounds like you're describing a hexohm.

Lifetime warantee, made in the USA. Premium. Machined out of metal. It's one of those devices you buy once and always keep in your collection.

Here's mine:

Yeah kinda like that! Wish it was a little sexier LOL
I am looking at dotmod as well!

IMO they're sexy as hell. I like the looks way more than something vaporesso/voopoo/smok/etc. That's completely subjective though.

I wouldn't recommend dotmods. They're very much style over substance. Nice for a couple photos and a hit once and a while, but they aren't exactly work horses. They're delicate and more of a show piece.

Yea... That's kinda what I have gathered... Sad. It looked so good.
I am getting into the RDA game, I saw your dotmod.
What what you recommend for RDA? I am also waiting on a drop dead to arrive =)

I only squonk, so my usage is a bit different. But my favourite RDAs in the order of what I would buy if I had to rebuy all of them: Citadel, B2K, KRMA, Entheon.

The B2K itself is pretty important. People think single coil flavour RSAs have no clouds, but this one has a giant deck. It's what I would recommend to someone serious that's getting into rebuildables and squonking. This is a B2K flavour RSA @ 110W and 0.15 Stapled Clapton in SS316:

It gives as much clouds as a drop dead/dead rabbit/drop but with more flavour. I'm not building below 0.15 anyways, so I rather 1 giant coil than 2 large coils. Especially in a small high airflow deck like this.

For dual coil, I own the big three among others: drop dead, dead rabbit, and drop. They each have their strengths and short comings, my order of preference is the one I wrote it in. That's subjective though, you'll find a lot of people still prefer the drop. I would say the drop dead and dead rabbit do much better with squonking. The coils are so high that capillary action can be slow. Its better to squonk it almost to the top. Because i'm squonk focused, I find dual coil pretty anemic on most regulated mods (80-90W max isn't enough for me on a dual coil), and on mech/unregulated I prefer building low mass low resistance. Mod selection becomes pretty slim, I have a rage to fill that niche. (I think it's 150-180W or something?)

I hate the Wasp Nano, and don't really like the profile RDA either. Although tons of people love them.

My suggestions would be B2K if you're serious. I would get a recurve if you want cheap mass produced. But this is all from a squonking perspective.

WITH ALL OF THAT SAID, maybe you should get a squonker if you want to get into RDAs. Fills a niche that is unfilled in your collection.

Asmodus makes some nice mods. I seen one new one they have , the colossal, it's pretty nice and actually small, so not sure why they call it that...it's a single battery however , which might not be what your looking for but they do have a bunch of duals as well.

Back in the day, one could say, "Just get a Provari!" and that would be the end of the discussion.

Well, that's not exactly true. It would start a debate of at least 20 pages long. But the Provari was a great mod if you could afford to shell out $200, which was quite a lot of money a few years ago for a mod. It was way ahead of its time for build quality, ruggedness, chip performance, and customer service. Unfortunately, its no longer made. The owners retired and were not able to sell their business operation.

The Geekvape Aegis (single battery) and Geekvape Legend (dual battery) mods are probably the most rugged regulated mods made today. Shockproof, dustproof, and waterproof. The Aegis Mini has a rugged design, too, but uses an internal 2200 mah battery. Geekvape

For high wattage performance and having the ability to tweek your vape to your specific desire and the ability to customize the display, any of the mods using the Evolv DNA chipset will be top notch. Like the Lost Vape mods.

The German-made Official Dicodes USA - Exclusive Dealer in the United States of America are worth a good look, too.

I use the JAC Vapor series B DNA75W. It won in a small informal poll in 7th Annual Unofficial Equipment of the Year Poll here on ECF. I love my two JAC's as much as my three Provari. ;)
