im conisdering getting another one for TCR, they are cheap but brave and pretty capable, another member brought a link of review that explained pretty well, i wonder if reborn 168W will do tcr as well, like this brave soldier, started liking asmodus,

I don't think the older versions using the Asmodus chip set are as good at TC vaping as their latest mods. I definitely need another colossal ;)

For sure! i was looking at their new versions of these mods, they re-launched new minikins, and new reborn, personally i have used reborn and liked shape and feel, so i like to for wattage mostly, since when i get new thanks i do love wattage, actually just found out that single coil ones are better for TCR and flavor, so maybe i just need a new colossal! also, for TC is not necesary to have a +100W mods, since its a bit less power hungry compared to wattage,

Oh, that is nice! I don't have a huge KF collection and I like the KFL+ but have become so accustomed to top fill. I suppose I've become a little spoiled. I don't have those top fill caps that they use to make. Did you ever use those?

Me, too!! And funnily enuf, the KF I showed IS top fill. :) :) :)

@Myth, not that much. But I did post a link for the 2fdeal page with the 24mm version.

But the word around is that they do a good clone, I keep on wondering about their Juggerknot Mini.
Wonder no more. It's positively 1:1. If you want the JK mini go for it 'cause the OP is no more.

Not all kafuns are finnicky The new Kafun lite 2019 is pretty emphatically NOT finicky.. For a kayfun.

However they have a ton of parts. If you lose one O-ring somewhere you will have to figure that out. Lots of folks say wicking that sucker is easy, I have not found it to be.

It also has juice flow control and me and that just never got along. To be fair, I have not really put in the effort to make my (clone) prime bend to my will but they're a lot harder to deal with than many tanks (IMHO.)

Can someone explain how a Kayfun Prime is finicky?
. Because of the small deck and tight ledge it makes for a precise build imo, plus the af & juice flow being basically in the same area. If you cut the tails a bit too long or a bit too short the vape will suffer. For those using rayon or bigger ID coils, the tails have to be thinned slightly or the vape will suffer. If you dont keep the undersides of the wick away from af hole, you can seepage that can collect down under the 510 plate...like any rta it just takes a bit of practice and these dont apply, but for a new mtl rta single coil vapor, there aren't that many rtas that are more finicky. Take a "so called gta" styled rta like the doggy, it doesn't work on the same wicking principle and is a ton easier to work, the vacuum type rtas have to be wicked just right imo, so for newbs, I consider them finicky...it also has alot to do with wattage, juice, and vaping style. If your vaping a 50/50 juice at 13 watts and not hitting it every minute, perhaps it's less finicky, but put in a 70 or 80 vg at 20 watts and it becomes more finicky. In general rtas are a finicky bunch compared to anything else. Any drop in tank, red, squonker, pod, etc are way easier to master imo.......you disagree?

Love the Prime. Love the Prime's juice flow control. Love the Prime's top fill.

But, if you really wanted to bottom fill the Prime, it is possible with a syringe. The 2019 Lite essentially made those ports larger for bottom filling... which also eliminated the ability to adjust the flow.

A lot of atomizers borrow heavily from the design of the Kayfuns. For example, the Berserker stole much of the design but got rid of the juice flow control and simplified the air flow adjustment. Some like it... but many have resorted to bottom filling because the top fill causes leaks... Eliminating juice flow control has down sides.

I happen to like the ability to adjust the flow (in addition to the ability to shut it completely for top filling). It's a smart design.

I'm use to the small deck as the only RTA's I have are Kayfuns. I view the Prime as a mini V5 with juice control and air flow adjustments just a smaller build deck. Actually from what I've read two turns opens the juice flow to fully opened and the Kayfun takes care of the juice flow. I haven't had issues with liquid leaking out of the 510 screw. I do vape at 20 to 25 watts with 70% vg, but I use TC so I'm never going to get a dry hit. If the Prime isn't getting enough juice I know it when taking a puff as the mod won't deliver much power if any to the coil. Yes then I just shut and reopen the juice control and those bubbles come up and I'm back to vaping. It's not perfect but it close to it. :)
