Congrats man! That's awesome.

I lost 70lbs in under 6 months about 8 years back and it was amazing how my life changed. I went from being a lazy lump to also quitting smoking (went back to them after a few years) and running. I never ran in my life and completed my first marathon a few months after losing the weight. I put a bit back on, but I have kept most of it off.

Back in 1998 I was out on medication that gave me the appetite that aye Cleveland but destroyed my metabolism. I put on 30% more weight, and at one time I was living in 200 calories a day to get rid of the spare tire around my waist.

I found the Flat Belly diet and eating foofs rich in MUFA's (MonoUnsaturated Fatty Acids.). With this diet I have gotten down to the same size clothes I wore in College.

90% of the time people on diets cut out the fats. Rember Susan Powter "its the fat that's making you fat!"

Your body CAN'T function without fat. Fats allow your cells go replicate (uses fat to build the membrane around the cells. Your brain and eyes needs fats to stay healthy.

Here are foods rich in MUFAs.

Olives, olive oil, dark chocolate, nuts like walnuts, pecans, almonds, etc, some seeds, avocado. These are the healthy fats you hear about.

Today I est a normal diet but I add a handful of pecans after my meal. If I am eating out I have them put a vinaigrette dressing on a salad. If I am having a sandwich at a deli I have them add some black olives.

The most pain free diet I ever tried and now I am only 3 pounds from my ideal weight.

The flat belly diet was based on the Mediterranean diet.

Today I have a blood pressure of 108 over 70, and a resting heart rate of 59. Not bad for someone almost 61 years old.

I take no allopathic medication.

I use a Supplement I found that keeps my Chrons disease flare ups under control, and very little MMJ to help me deal with the pain of Chrons

    ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Is my Verse that help me get throw most of my struggles with this

Looks like he follows the Lord's program. Prayer.
