- cursed cartridges (Satan's spawn)
- blue foam
- tea bags
- homemade syringe tanks
- bonuts
- carto rejuvenation battles
- carto punch evolution

Hey, them there thangs got me off of smokes - I soooo remember googling everywhere for sources of blue foam - good punches and stuff. We had to put an effort in to be a success. Shoot a Joye 650mah batt was leading the way in tech. And I have not near been around as long as some of these folks, but I can proudly say over 3.5 yrs smoke free...

You weren't by any chance motivated by this thread, were you?
:)

No :) It's just been such a great place for the "older" vapers to visit and "youngins" like myself to join in too. I don't want it to get the "lock" symbol next to it for a couple more years.

Ah -- I remember back in the day -- when I could vape at an outside cafe openly and when vape meets could be held inside, with the overflow going out to patio's. It actually took a couple of hours for the room to get "vapery" and the doors and windows had to be opened. Those were the days! :D

(tee hee -- I still have some blue foam, uh, somewhere.)

Well, thank you then.
:)

I feel the same way, but I'm not about to bump my own thread.
I'd feel dirty.

Wow. I hadn't even thought about that, T. The Darwin, yes?
I so remember the Darwin vs. Provari wars.

I remember wv2win was a hardcore Darwin guy.
And I thought the damn thing was ugly as sin.

Ah yes, good times.

Yes. The interesting looking, (some say fugly), Darwin

My first vari --- and though it's visited the mother ship a few times, it's working beautifully today.

Perhaps one could say it was also the first regulated box mod too?

Remember when the only vaporizer you could find was a Vicks? You'd fill it up with Vicks and Nicotine, stick your face in and suck in as much as you could, overdose and pass out while you soiled yourself? We've come a long way baby.

Um.... that wasn't nicotine.

Nah, the Modders Forum was full of them, from horrible analog regulation, early switched regulation and experiments with using PWM, box mods galore. Some with "switchless" touch pad fire buttons, and a variety of buck, boost and buck-boost configurations, with or without filtering.

Now it costs more to buy the parts than a factory built VW-TC mod. We've come a long, long way.

Was the Darwin also the first VW Only mod also? No VV? I think there's an ego type now that has VW only.

The Darwin was what kept me from getting on the pre-order list for the Pro vari. Really liked the idea. Never got either tho. Held out until a reasonable alternative arrived, the VV3 then an Istick.
