I'm still using cartos, Tweety, I sometimes still experience those things. LOL. Maybe, one of these days, I should get a tank.

I don't mind reasonable taxes, Tweety. I just hope that they don't put a sin tax on e-cigs, like they do with cigarettes. But, they are liable to do anything, so who knows. It's disheartening to see how many of our freedoms have been taken away over the years. I know that seatbelts are good, but I hate them telling me that I have to wear one or get fined.
On second thought, I had a friend who was a nurse in an emergency room and she saw a lot of fire and drowning victims, who panicked and couldn't release their seat belts. She said that she would never wear one, so maybe seatbelts aren't as good as claimed.

No, not at all! I've helped Issac, he's helped me, it goes around and I've got a few! I've also gotten addicted to Mad Murdocks 710 and it's not the same at all in a carto, of any sort! So I've either been dripping it, or bottom feeding into an i06 on a Vmod.
Really, I'd be happy to send you a couple and you'd know how a tank can really work! I get 3-7 days out of Bouge or Smok carto's, I get 3-4 weeks out of the Ikenvapes!

There really wasn't one at the time. New mods were being introduced so fast that this week's greatest thing ever was next week's relic.

Took a bit longer to figure out how not to burn them....but i remember thinking, "why does anyone need all these different mods and types of batteries? You can only vape one at a time". I had to carry 3 or 4 batteries but they were all the same kind.
Course now, i have 9 different e-cigs with 9 flavors and 3 different nic levels sitting in front of me in a nice wooden stand. I still carry 3 or 4 batteries during the day, but any single one of them will last all day- so i can change flavors as much as i want

The first I remember was the 510 and if I remember right it was also the first of the threading types to for sale as a ready made connector for boxmods.
When I came on everyone told me to get a 510 and I ordered two kits. I think they were around $50 each. The first couple box mods I built, I got the 510 connectors by tearing apart 510 batteries. It was shortly after that you could start buying connectors. Then the guy from altsmoke sent me this "new" 510 connector that was sealed. I was so excited.
When I started everyone was waiting months for a "Chuck", that was the big thing! Get a chuck with a custom picture on it and it was as good as it got! But it was too big for my tastes. Then the Silver bullet, I don't remember much about Pure Smoker back then, but I didn't get out of the V4L forum much either, so take that for what it's worth.

I bought my first ecig in 2009 - small black 510 cigalooking thing that lasted an hour or so before needing a charge - I had a passthru so I could plug it into my computer ... So many things were not satisfying that I kept smoking. Then I came back about a year later. I got myself a couple of wonderful mods: Phidias wooden box mod - and an Infinity VV tube mod (like a Buzz only slimmer) so I was set with the battery end of things. I then began collecting (not on purpose) many 510-type attys - which it seemed to me could not/would not last longer then a week if I was very lucky. Really I had piles of the things - I remember boiling them and putting vinegar and baking soda into them trying to clean them out or bring them back to life. I had so many different juices that I could have opened a small kiosk - and it seemed I was always covered in juice... so yeah, most all of us were in similar boats.

When I started, it was the EGO 650, brand new and the battery could last 1/2 a day!!!
So much better than watching 3 - M401 batteries charging, waiting to see which led would go off first...
I don't know how anybody got more than 30 minutes out of the 180mAh 510 batteries. I remember reading an hour to an hour and a half, but I was amazed if I ever had one last longer than 20 minutes. Then it took 1.5 hours to recharge. Had to carry 9 batteries and a PCC that plugged into my computer to get close to lasting a workday.
I'm very thankful those days are way behind me. I'll never take a 2000mAh IMR 18650 for granted. Those things have saved me so much grief...
