I don't care if my mod looks like a clock humping a toaster
Would that get you a litter of MVP minis?

We don't. And we also don't know if he was using a "name brand" charger, or a cheap one. I had heard that some of those chargers can actually damage your electronics because they put out way more amps than they should.
Video posted on UKVapers....
Yeah.... that is safe as all get out. Nothing to see here. Move along, anti-iSticker's.

I see the potential of recommending the 50w istick as a fire starter. Terrible food warmer tho.I see the problem here. All the heat is escaping while the pizza under the mod remains cold.

can potentially explode.
This is True.
Please explain. I am curious.No
No it's not.

I'd be more worried about the circuitry.Yep... I want to know the quality and type of batt I am using. Most if not all do not divulge this level of detail. If it has a high batt capacity and a low price - there has to be a reason - it is not just to pass on a good deal to you...
I've got No Problem with Lipo's. Last time I checked, that is what is in All my Cell Phones.
But for a Power Source in an APV, in a Market where Quality seems to take a Backseat
No
No it's not.

These units use a LiPo battery, which is not safe chemistry. When this chemistry battery vents, it vents with flames and can potentially explode.
That's not an mvp 2.you cant compare MVP 2 with an istick 50w , not to mention , MVP look like an alarm clock when you turn them horizontally :

Is it a 3.0? I like the alarm clock look. That's not an mvp 2.

Which included the part I quoted and corrected. Why is it not True?
BTW - This is what I said was True...
Ah I see what you meant there. Yeah, explosion is a bad word. Definitely over dramatic. only really apt if it's in a mod with no venting.Which included the part I quoted and corrected.
When you stomp on a fun size bag of potato chips does it pop or does it explode?
Because lipos are in a pouch that can hold a similar amount of pressure. Thus, not enough to allow pressure build up to the point of explosion.
They vent
They "pop"
They "burst"
(The latter two should be considered strong words to explain a violent venting.)
They do not explode. That's fear mongering.
They do burn like hell during a vent at times though. Very violent high temp flaring.

Best post yet! I feel the same way. Awesome lolI don't care if my mod looks like a clock humping a toaster if it works properly. That would be better than my Istick that looks and performs like a paperweight
Exactly.Ah I see what you meant there. Yeah, explosion is a bad word. Definitely over dramatic. only really apt if it's in a mod with no venting.
I believe the biggest problem brought up in this thread was the fire hazard, which would still be applicable then. I appreciate the education.Exactly.
Just like the istick 50 issue.
Let's keep it in perspective.
The thing to fear is the hot gases escaping. Not the pressure built up and the velocity which they escape. Unlike metal cased batteries, there's no potential for skin puncturing shrapnel or immense shockwave, or anything characteristic of an explosion.
But stay away from those flare ups. Instant, permanent finger toast...

This is why I want vaping hardware capable of over X watts to be certified by UL as safe. But no one wants regulation and this is what no regulations is. suck it up or support reasonable regulations.
