Yep! Add to my favorite vaping locations -- movie theatres! (I already vape in restaurants, bars, department stores, non-smoking friends' homes. And now -- theatres.

My one-handed technique: just wrap my fingers over the LED, press the manual button with my thumb, inhale and hold. No vapor's visible and no odor, so no problem.

Three separate times during "Avatar's" almost three hours, I enjoyed a couple of puffs.

Where've YOU been vaping lately?

I really don't go out all that much due to the fact I work right from this computer at home and put in crazy hours. But vaping in the movie theater rocks! I pretty much chain vape, holding in the vapor until there really isn't anything to exhale and draw attention to myself.
I've never enjoyed movies so much!

PS. How was Avatar? My honey and I are planning on hitting a matinee of it this week!

I actually look for places to be seen. I am not an attention grabber usually, but being able to freely smoke when and where I want is huge. I dig being asked about them and just and over a V4L card. Grocery stores are the best. Haven't been to a movie yet since I've been on these but that's next on my list!
Nice dood!

Grocery stores! R-I-G-H-T! Another stellar vaping locale!

Saw "Avatar" in IMAX 3D and yes, IMHO, it's the best 3D yet.

Ever since "The Dark Knight" in IMAX (not 3D, though) I've realized IMAX (and now IMAX 3D) is really the ONLY format for action films.

Sorta like V4L is the ONLY format for vaping.

Especially during action films.

I pretty much vape every where I go these days. I don't really pay attention to it anymore. When I first got mine my girlfriend would gripe at me when I broke it out in a restaurant after a meal. Now she doesn't even notice. I vape in Walmart when shopping and in any stores I go into. So far no one has said one word to me. I vape in line to pay or any other place whenever I need a nic hit. I did have one woman give me a mean look when I was vaping in Texas Roadhouse while waiting for my table so I put it away for a few minutes intil I realized she just naturally looked mean and that was the way she looked all the time. Back to vaping. I'm actually surprized no one says a word to me about it. Maybe it's beacuse I dont do a series of vapes but a hit off and on and the PV is in and out of my pocket all the time. Maybe it's because they see me take my hit and then just slide it into my pocket so they know it isn't a cig. I don't know.

I also vape everywhere. People are curious and many do ask. I give them as much information as I can especially about how long I've smoked and how many packs a day. This amazes them and they want to know more. If I have the time I do explain but I hand out V4L business cards and tell them about the kits and flavors.

Vaping at the movies is the best. To eat that entire bag of popcorn plus a large soda, who doesn't want to vape?

I love the confused look on some people's faces when they see the green or blue LED.

ME TOO...I love educating people about it. I really need to print something up since I run out of Steve's cards so quickly.

I vape everywhere too and only once in 8 months was I told "those aren't allowed in here" after being asked if it was one of those electronic cigarettes and since it was loud and it was a BIG bouncer, I just apologized with a puzzled look on my face and put it in my pocket :(

I'm planning to see Avatar over christmas weekend in Thailand. I'm going to have to see it in 2-D, unfortunately. They don't have Imax in Pattaya. But the theaters there have a luxury theater option. It's almost $20, but you get an extra wide, comfy recliner seat, a nice plush lounge to wait in until the show starts, free popcorn, waiters to bring you more snacks during the show, and they serve alcoholic beverages. The only way to watch a movie, IMO.

The next time you order, ask for a bunch of cards in the comments section. I did that and they almost buried me in cards for the next several orders! :)

man... i don't know if i could ever do that. I still have issues vaping outside in crowded areas for fear that somebody will give me looks. I was the same way with cigarette's though. Wouldn't smoke if somebody with 30 feet of me was eating for fear that they would get ...... off at the dirty smoker.

That being said, I did vape through Avatar. The first time I looked around like I was up to no good. After that first one though it was no big deal. When I told my wife afterwards she said she had thought she smelled it but she looked over at me and saw nothing suspicious so she decided it was just somebody's candy (had my dp cart on, can't get enough of the doc!)
