He/she said that because most people traditionally used vaping as a smoking cessation tool. Many of the young people with the "clouds bro, clouds" mentality ARE in fact a problem. You demonstrated the problem perfectly in your post.
That right there is the problem. So many of the younger vapers dont care because they are using it as a hobby. If their hobby gets taken away, they will move on to the next thing. When people rely on it as a tool to keep them off cigarettes, you are REALLY screwing them over with the "I dont care if it gets banned" mentality. You are taking away something that has given them the ability to live a much healthier lifestyle and greatly improve the quality of their health. That is why so many of the veteran members on here don't want to see people taking up vaping just because they want to chuck monster clouds everywhere they go. I LOVE to chuck some clouds, but i do it when appropriate. In the privacy of my home, a vape shop, or when i am camping/fishing at my family farm, clouds are fair game. If i am in public, i try to keep it put away. if i do use it, i try to keep the clouds to a minimum. This keeps from irritating other people and giving them a negative view of vaping or reinforcing one if they already have it.
