1.3ohm at around 3.7-3.9volts
This is just what I ended up with, & I love it:w00t:
No wicking or leaking issues for me, hits real hard, great flavor too.
I do keep the cone quite open, as I use VG only.
I got the ceramic in just fine as well, although it took a while..:)
Very very happy with the iAtty Imeo, it's a great invention indeed:thumbs:
I always enjoy learning new things, and this device has already taught me a lot lol

I make some experiments with silica rope. Its very good until now. I used this rope in the earlier days. It had a smell so I rejeched but I think it was from the storage on the factory because the inner fibers didnt have that smell, only the outer ones.

Imeo - I wonder if the smell was PTFE that some suppliers coat silica rope with? PTFE is PolyTetraFluoroEthylene, a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene well known by the brand name Teflon. If overheated (+500 F), it releases a fluorine containing gas. Usually the supplier will give the buyer the option to have it coated or not.

3.8 Ohms at 6.4 volts is pretty sweet! Good flavor, great throat hit, and tons of vapor. I know just where I like it now, bring on the VV Imeo for the final tweak.

I was thinking last night and today, how awesome it is going to be to have a 100% user servicable PV, VV, and I atty. It will be the ultimate DIY setup!

I think exactly the same Rick. !

I dont think so Captain. The external fibers of the rope had the same texture and the same appearance but they had this smell. The internal fibers were ok. Who knows where they store them

Try even lower resistance guys. Iatty will not bring burned taste at all.

I tried 1.5ohm at 4+ volt and the juice tasted very overcooked, but not burnt. It wicks very well, but you can easily overcook the juice even with the cone unscrewed 1mm+ (which is probably impossible to avoid since you can't really avoid overcooking juice when it is heated too high).

I only wound three wires around the wick and it still produces a large amount of vapor at 1.5ohm / 3.3volt.

Well done Imeo, your design abilities are impressive :)

I'm a wuss...........
3.4 ohms @ 4.9 volts delivers warm rich flavor

My eyes would roll back in my head if I tried those low resistance numbers; regardless of the volts..
