The sleeve is almost twice as long as the original and replaces it. It lets you use two 3 volt batteries for 6 volt vaping instead of the original sleeve that holds one 3.7 battery. The higher voltage produces way more vapor and flavor. Now that I have tried 6 volt I don't want to go back to 3.7.

Hi Electricnut,
Thank you for replying. I don't know what the "original" was. Is it a stand alone device or does it go on the Chameleon? It looks like a hollow tube to me so I don't understand how it is used to vape?

I'm gonna change the subject a little.
I have read and read and read on flavors and I have watched reviews and the like. I have thought that we all had such huge ranges on our SUBJECTIVE taste buds until I am just sick. Tonight I have learned a lesson. Thank you Isaac, for you have taught me an e-cig fact on nicquid/e-juice/juice/e-liquid flavors.
When people do these reviews there is an important component missing. Which device are they using? At what voltage are they? On top of this fact, for those of us that only have a basic pv, we will not understand.
My R3 came to life at 6 volts. And I believe some of the other flavors I have will do the same. The taste is completely different than I have been experiencing on my out of the box 510, from Joye. The flavor on my Joye 510 is a little harsh with a not a lot of flavor. On the 801 throat hit is much smoother with decent flavor. Not so bad on the 901.

If you have a 3-3.5 voltage pv, you ARE missing out on what most people are talking about when it comes to how the flavors taste. They come alive with 5-6 volts. You do have to be careful, as I learned tonight. You will blow an atty or two while getting the hang of the higher voltage vaping. One cartomizer and one 901 blown! LOL.

Come on guys-Chime in here. Is this right or have I had way too much wine tonight?
