On last saturday had an issue of overfill with one of my first King Diamond v2's (his name was The Tyrant, taken from one of the earliest Emperor songs because he was matte black with red). Usually when syringe filling use the method of overfill, draw up the excess, and repeat twice, then do one more draw to be sure there is no overfill and the carto is completely saturated. This method failed with Gunslinger due to it's high viscosity, there was still some overflow left and down into the battery it went. Switch got stuck in the on position after three puffs. This batt is 212 charges old, so he was getting up there, but for sentimental reasons couldn't give up on him. Tried the small drop of everclear (pga) down the hole method, waited a day, and still nothing. Having taken one of these apart know where the switch mechanism is, so decided to go for a last ditch effort. I filled a shot glass up to where it would be equal to the v4l logo on the batt, and dropped it in. Swirled the batt around a few times and let it sit overnight, then let it dry for the next day while standing up right on a table. Tuesday I tried vaping it, and sure enough it worked. That battery is still working now, but couldn't leave it up to chance as a surfire fix. That night subjected two more king diamond batts to juice, one was given a drop of nuport wow (as SnowDragon sized drop as close as possible), the other No.7. Last night went to try them, batt number one (a black matte with green led named Luke the 3rd) with nuport wow worked, and continues to work this morning. Batt number 2 (a black glossy batt with a blue led named Majesty of the Night Sky) worked at first, but this morning is back to being stuck. A 66% success rate, not perfect, but in a last ditch effort to save a batt better than nothing. Mind you none of these were charged with the juice in them, the battery sacraficed in that way has been unabled to be revived no matter what attempts made. So rest in peace Majesty of the Night Sky, you will be missed. Hope this helps someone.
